a/n: we're here now?! WOW!
"I think you could pass with adding a few points then~" The idol winked, "Only if you return compliments back to me though! It's not fair if you get all the glory." She really didn't have to worry about Chenglei not complimenting them back, though. He did that so much already. Even his gaze on her as she did simple things like walk around felt.. Special. Grr, she really did feel like she was getting bent in his direction and he didn't even know it! Staying calm, she responded to the question, "I do~ I do! It's pretty nice! I haven't seen any of the contestant dorms, but they have to be a bit of a struggle, hm? Especially sticking 10 plus people into one room. I couldn't handle it!" She shuddered just thinking about the concept of having such a small room.
After Chenglei walked into her bedroom door, she closed it, locking it after because, well, you never know who's going to come in! She knew he could just unlock it when he leaves too. If he leaves. LAUGHS. She followed him over to her vanity table for now though, simply enjoying the moment. Being taken care of in such a way really did bring a softer side out of her in such a short amount of time. Now that the cameras were away from them, maybe she'd feel comfortable with embracing that a bit more. "Really? It's because of the products I use, then. I don't settle for anything but the best~!" She nodded, then she wave a wink at Chenglei as she looked at him through the mirror, "Why else would I be here with you~?" Wink, wink. They stayed silent as their hair was getting braided, their focus was on how concentrated Chenglei looked on doing her hair. When he finished he looked at herself in the mirror for a moment before looking up at him. "I could make you my personal braider then, so you can see me like this more often." She put her hands on top of his, patting them for a moment before just resting them there.
In a more serious tone of voice, she smiled appreciatively at Chenglei, turning her gaze away from the mirror and up towards him, "I really do want to thank you for letting me talk with you like this today." Their hands gave a soft squeeze to his. "I didn't think we'd connect so well just considering how different we both seem on the surface. But~ I do believe in opposites attracting and and now that we connected.. I hope we can continue this..." She didn't know if she meant it strictly platonically, or if she meant it in... Potentially in other ways. Or maybe she did and didn't want to admit it. It was easier to ignore those extra confused voices. Only Chenglei had her focus now, at least.

"Hehe..." He giggled and hung his head all sheepish like. "I will, I will. Personally, I find it hard to avoid." He admitted and sort of kicked his foot all bashful. Chenglei nodded. "Mhmm. It was a bit headache inducing. Going from always being by myself to suddenly having people like Kang Yohan... Ahaa... Very tiring." Despite his complaining, he had a certain fondness when referring to Yohan. They were his first friend here, Chenglei really loved him and how comfortable he made him feel.
Chenglei's head turned pretty quickly when he heard the lock. He felt his heart beating out of his chest again as he watched her come to him. Chenglei put on a typical sweet smile, trying not to think about it too deeply. "I didn't think so~" He chuckled at the wink and moved his hands to give her shoulders a small squeeze. He had a double take, glancing down at her shoulders and blinking. "You're a little tense," he whispered, lightly dragging his hand along her neck. He left his comment at that, trying not to think too deeply about her warm her skin felt against his cool hand. "Hehe... I'm having a lot of fun." Chenglei moved his hands and rested them on top of her head for a moment before placing them back down.
Chenglei looked down to meet their gaze and smiled. "You don't have to worry about it, I love talking to you." He said sweetly, his thumb massaging into where her neck met with her shoulder. "I was nervous about that too, but sometimes you just have to let it happen, right?" He smiled, nodding his head in response to her. "I think I would like that as well,"
