I couldn't see her, I couldn't damage her. I loved her so dearly, she was a delicate flower and I was the child who would pick them killing it instantly.
I couldn't have that.
A week had passed and I just stayed in the shadows, it wasn't enough.
(Margo)
It was suggested by the Brady bunch or other wise known as my father and the rest of them, that I should go outside for once
Who does that?
I grabbed my phone and pulled on a sweater and jeans.
Once I had my shoes on I was out the door, I was just going to get yogurt and stay inside the shop so my family thinks I'm out doing something. Jokes on them Im just eating.
I was currently eating the topping covered vanilla yogurt when I felt a stare. I looked around to be met with Nathan.
I don't know him, he just was the cashier.
He gave me a smile and I awkwardly smiled back, I had a fear the yogurt was dribbling down my chin.
A few minutes later I heard footsteps behind me and a chair pulling up in front of me.
Sitting right across of me was Nathan, yogurtland cashier.
"Hi" he said still having that smile on his face
"Hey?" I said sounding more of a question.
"Sorry if I'm interrupting I can leave" he said
"No, no, you're fine" I said and shrugged
I was so lonely from not seeing Harry, not that I would ever admit that. Plus, Nathan's pretty interesting.
Not seeing Harry for so long was the hardest rejection I've been through. This past week his words been playing over and over in my mind.
After chatting for longer than I planned, I panicked when I looked at the time "oh shit, I have to get home" I said standing up
"I'll walk you" Nathan said getting up, I was gonna decline but then again, I didn't want to walk home alone.
I nodded and walked out with him.
As we walked down the street I heard footsteps behind us.
Maybe I'm going crazy?
Nathan was hearing them too he turned around but saw no one and just shrugged it off
For me it kept going, I kept hearing footsteps behind me.
"I think I could walk from here, but thank you" I said turning to face Nathan stopping in my tracks
He gave me that warm smile I've come accustomed to in this short amount of time.
"Are you sure? I can walk you further it's no burden really" he said and I nodded
"I'm sure" I said and smiled slightly
"Here call me when you get home so I know you're okay" he said pulling out a napkin that was in his back pocket writing his number down
Smooth
"It's clean I promise, it's the only thing I could write on" he said and chuckled
I smiled and took it putting it in my jean pocket nodding.
He left and as soon as he turned the corner out of my sight I sighed "stop following me Harry" I said rolling my eyes.
He came out from where he was hiding behind the hedges of a random persons front lawn
He didn't look happy
But neither was I
"What do you think you're doing?" He asked me an eyebrow raised
"Well breathing, walking, living" I said and shrugged as I walked he followed behind
"No, with him" Harry said his eyebrows furrowed, his jaw clenched and fists balled up.
"Oh well sorry daddy I didn't know I was banished from having friends" I said in a mocking tone
He just chuckled dryly "he doesn't want to be your friend" Harry said
"You don't know anything about him" I said
"Neither do you!" He shot back "you've only known him for forty minutes" Harry spat
"You're stalking me?" I asked
No answer, that's what I expected.
"Just don't fall for him Margo, you know who you belong to" he said
I laughed "and you think it's you?" I asked
"Don't fall for me Margo I'm fucking dead" I said mocking his voice and walking up the stairs with him following close behind
"I am! I am fucking dead, But I'm fucking insane about you!" He shouted slamming my bedroom door behind us
"And he will do nothing but hurt you and shut you out as part of a little game to manipulate you!" Harry said sounding like he was talking to himself
"Like you?" I asked shouting back and he stopped dead in his tracks
