Chapter13: His Courage

"So, will you..." Luhan paused to drink. After that, he continued, "Will you answer my question, no I mean, questions?" He emphasized the "s". I asked him monotonously , "What questions?".

All of their eyes widen and said in unison, "Really?!". I chuckled softly and smiled, because as long as I had lived I haven't have such comfortable chat with "my" friends.

"Hmm... So, can we start?" I questioned.

Luhan nodded and start, "Erm... Do you know Chanyeol before knowing me?". I shook my head.

Luhan POV
Wooh~ I am still the first.

Before I could ask the second question, Kai cut me. "Yah! Hyung, you should have ask the main question! Aish! JUST LET ME DO IT!!" Kai exclaimed.

I was stunned, wanting to stop him but he was so fast.

"Eun Min, perhaps you like Chanyeol?" Kai questioned Eun Min. Eun Min remained the same expressionless face and didn't reply him.

Deep in my heart, I didn't want to hear her answer. I am afraid that she would say "Yes" and all my confession plans would be vanished.

"... No." She said. I eyes widen up and smiling like an idiot. I HAVE CHANCE!

Out of a sudden, I felt a big slapped on the arm. I turned around and saw Sehun eyeing on me. "What!? Why do you hit me?!" I shouted. "You look like a retard, smiling like a retard." He said.

Eun Min POV
"You look like a retard, smiling like a retard." Sehun said. Without knowing, I naturally laughed. Everyone was shocked. "Y-you laughed." Kai pointing at me and said. I just smiled.

After some dishes in the street stall, we all decided to go back home.

"Bye Eun Min!!" Kai and Sehun said while walking away. "I hope you could grant my wish..." Luhan said. I glared at him and said it monotonously, "Never in your dreams!".

I walked away from him but he kept following me. "Yah.... Just let me walk you home." He begged. I rolled my eyes and turned around. "Ain't you walking me home now?" I asked. He grinned.

"Hey! Sorry to disturb your peace walk but I wanna ask something. How do you know, Chanyeol?" He asked. How do I know him?....

"I am not very sure but, our first conversation is when I saved his dog, Chul. I misunderstood his intention and scolded him but in the end, we became friends, I guess?" I said.

He nodded his head. "I reached home. Thank for your walk. I felt so good having your accompany." I said. I turned around and walked towards the gate but someone stopped me. Luhan held my wrist. I gradually turned back to him and asked, "What do you want?".

He smirked. He is suspicious... He bent down to the same level as me and whispered, "I just want you to think. Do I have the permission to take care and love you?"

I widen my eyes and couldn't believe it. "D-Do you really know me, that you would want my permission to let you take care of me and to love me?" I mumbled.

Slowly, I felt my tears filling up my eyes.

I added, "You don't even know my background. You don't even know-" "Shh! I don't have to know your background, or what so ever. I love you not because of what you did or say. I love you is purely because of... you. You make me feel secure and safe. You make me feel jealous when you interact with my friends. You make me smile with your clumsiness."

I rolled my eyes and yanked away the gripped. "Did you memorise everything?" I questioned. He scratched the back of his neck and said, "You caught me... BUT! ALL OF IT IS TRUE!". I looked at the floor and mumbled, "Who cares if it is true or not. I don't want to be involved in any relationships now.".

Even though he is indirectly rejected, he is still staying very cheeky. "Not now? Can it be later?" He asked.

I rolled my eyes and walked away while muttered, "Whatever you like.".

A/N: Sorry is a very short chapter. Plus, I kept forgetting to update even when exams are over *FORGETFUL ME* Anyways, I promise to you guys that, the next chapters will be long enough:) Hope you guys are not getting bored of this story because the climax and ending are FABULOUS!!
