Ch 4

"I'm back..."

Touma tiredly opened the front door of the cottage.

"Welcome back, what took you so long?" Minami asked, "Oh my, it seems like you're a little scratched up."

For tonight, Haruka and Torao from ZOOL, along with Yamato, Mitsuki, Iori and Tamaki are out patrolling; leaving to others to rest. Unlike the others who are socializing in the living room, Nagi is asleep from pulling an all nighters watching anime.

"Touma... Why are you injured?" Riku asked.

"Just ran into a little problem when I was out... Well, maybe it's more than just... a little." Touma scratched the back of his neck, "TRIGGER stumbled upon an open portal and got sent here. I've already took care of the monsters there and sent them home but the problem lies on them, if they would tell other people about what they've experienced."

"Eh?! What should we do then?" Sogo asked.

"Tsunashi-san has already seen the us fight, however Tenn-nii and Yaotome-san is the problem..." Riku thought out loud, "Either ways, you should tell Otoharu-san about it. The sooner he knows the better."

"Yeah... I head over there and get myself patched up." Touma sigh.

"The moon sure is beautiful, right Erin?"

"Yeah... It sure is."

The two shared a comforting moment of silent together before Erin spoke up again, "So, how do you feel about this?"

"I'm glad I got to spend more time with everyone, so thank you Erin." Riku smiled, "Once everything is over, everyone will be able to go back to how their life should be."

"But..."

"Yeah, I know..." Riku looked down sadly, noticing that Touma has left Otoharu's office from through the window, "Looks like Touma's already done. Are you fine with me telling them about... you know what."

"Don't worry, I've already knew sooner of later they're know about it."

"Alrighty then," Riku hops up onto his feet, "I guess we should let them know now then. It'll make their planning for attack on the dungon easier."

"... and I'm assuming you're not going to tell the others?"

"It's better if they don't. We can't afford to hesitate on the day. Time is everything."

"Hmm? What brings you here at this hour? Shouldn't you be resting, Riku-kun?" Banri opens the door after hearing a knock.

"Oh my, it seems like we have yet another visitor." Otoharu said.

"Sorry to bother you when you are both so busy," Riku apologized, "I have a plan for destroying the dungeon... or more like a proposal."

Otoharu and Banri listened to what the red head has to say before ruling the option out.

"I'm sure you've already figure out what will happen when someone breaks the core of that dungeon... that is why I'm here to volunteer for that job."

"R-riku-kun that's-"

"Please. There isn't another way."

"...and how are you certain about that?" Otoharu asked.

Riku took a deep breath and revealed the truth, "If you remember the incident those years ago where I nearly died... I did. I'm not longer a living vessel, which is why I no longer get an asthma attacks," He took off his glove and proved how his hands are icy cold, and that he does not have a heart beat. "After dying, I meet Erin. He's been watching over this world, watching how the dungeon has killed all the people. In exchange to be 'alive', he asked me to defeat the dungon."
