AN/- hi! So, really sorry for the break- I kinda lost motivation but then I got it again thanks to you guys! So- another chapter! Your reviews mean everything to me honestly. Also— I used to wrote on HarryPotterFanfiction.net, don't know if you heard of it, but it shut down. I'd written a few stories there (Harry potter only) and I'm wondering whether I should rewrite it again here? Since I lost it... lemme know what you think.

They were all dramione stories 💀❤️ So, that might sway your decision lol.

Onto the chapter!

As Alya dragged me to the lake, I pondered on who could have put my name in.

Victor? Nope, even if he wanted an easy win. Too sweet.

Chloe? No, she'd sooner put her own name in.

Adrien? Not likely, and he wouldn't have a motive. And why would he put his own name as well?

Professor Rossi? She seemed awfully pleased, it would make sense... except for the fact that she would have to have put Adrien's name as well, and that made no sense whatsoever. She might do something in the future though.

"Marinette!" Alya yelled in my ear and I tripped over my own feet, glaring at her as I got up.

"What was that for?"

"I've been calling you for the last thirty seconds," she explained.

"Oh," I said sheepishly, "sorry."

"I DIDNT mean to make you fall though," she admitted, sniggering.

I rolled my eyes good naturedly, and we sat in front of the Lake.

"Are you ready for the Tournament?" She asked quietly. I sighed.

"It's months away, hopefully I'll find a way out by then."

"Hm," she said, but I knew she was doubtful. I stared at the shimmering blue green water of the lake, and wondered what dangers would await me if I had to participate.

"At least you have Agreste," she nudged me, smirking.

I scoffed, trying to ignore the embarrassing memory, "That isn't exactly comforting."

"Chloe number two?"

"Not really, he's more like... annoyed than dramatic. Stuck up though," I shrugged.

She sighed. "Well, good thing he's in Beauxbatons. Hopefully he takes Chloe too."

"Something tells me that's not going to happen."

"Krum, then," she said, and I couldn't help the blush this time. She smirked evilly.

"I knew it."

"He's being nice, that's all."

"Right, like Nath, Nino, Thomas..." she trailed off, laughing. I shoved her and she almost fell into the water.

"Dupain Cheng," I heard, and I groaned out loud.

Will everyone just leave me alone—?

Chloe stalked up to us, her blonde hair almost frizzy with anger. I wanted to point it out just to make her more mad, but I didn't have the energy.

"How dare you cheat just to get in the Tournament? To compete against my Adrikins!" She shrieked, attracting a few bewildered gazes belonging to loitering Beauxbatons and Durmstrang students.
