Chapter 8 - Kelsie

Someone as hot-headed as me can't just let this go. Gwen just decided that she was scared and needed her blankie so she ran back home! And she was the one who decided that maybe we should try to figure out more about our supernatural powers. Don't get me wrong, I'm totally on board with this, but it's just not fair. So, even though I'm on a bus, in a public place, I do the thing that calms me down most.

That lovely activity is called screaming my lungs out.

I scream and bang the back of my head against the window. I don't for sure know if anyone's looking at me, I think so, but my head is facing the ceiling. Something gives me the feeling that people are. 

Especially now, that Madeline is saying, "Kelsie, everybody's looking at you."

Well I think she cares too much about reputation.

Then again, I am making a big show of myself...

I sit back up, and Bridgette looks at me. "Kelsie, you've gotta calm down," she begins, "Now listen. We're getting off this bus, stomping over to Gwen's house, and hope she didn't say anything."

"Oh, Bridgette of course she's said something!" I groan, banging my head back helplessly.

"If I can chime in," a girl who's sitting across from us begins, putting her phone away. She has shiny, beautiful red-orange hair, full makeup, and a professional looking black dress paired with expensive - looking dark green heels. She's the business princess.

"Sure, why the heck not?" Serena almost instantly respond.

"Okay then," she says. "I'd just like you to know that you're not actually hopeless."

"What?" Tammi askes, in shock, and I honestly can't blame her. Why the heck do random strangers know our issue? "Okay, okay, first of all, what's your name?"

The girl smiles, and holds out her hand to Tammi for a handshake. "Quinn, Age fifteen," she says.

Tammi wearily shakes the Quinn's hand. "Tammi. So how the heck do you know about our problem?"

"Because I've seen you before!" Quinn says, as if it's obvious. "And I know you!" she continues.
