I'm popular. So. What. Tammi and Madeline could still tell me what's going on! And it's not like I'm super popular or anything, I just hang out with people who are technically popular...and dating someone who's popular...but still! We're friends, and I'd give up my super popular boyfriend, to know what's going on! Okay, unless it's super lousy. Then, no, forget it.
But really, I don't gossip or anything, so they can tell me. Plus, me and Madeline aren't like Serena, who's some amazing athlete, or Kelsie, who's pretty much a guy who loves video games and sports, or Tammi, who just cares about her mobile games and video games, we're the girly ones. We're best friends. We've known each other for a long time. And now that we're supernaturals, we can't leave each other's sides. Okay, one of us is popular, and one of us isn't.
In those teen girl books I read, friends are torn apart by popularity.
Are stereotypes becoming reality?
