A sudden quaking of the ground disturbed your peaceful slumber, immediately causing you to wake up as you instantly get rid of the remnants of sleep. You waited for a few seconds to ensure that what really disturbed you continues as you frowned before finally getting up. Carefully sitting on your futon bed, you're completely focused with your surroundings and instantly heard the chaos a distance away. You are left confused and concerned as to what could possibly cause it before getting curious. Exiting your room, the area seemed to be deserted, but with enough wandering around and getting all the more worried by the noise, you soon bump into someone.
Apologizing profusely while helping the person get back up, you recognize him as one of the kakushis that have been assisting you since your stay within the Ubuyashiki estate, causing you to immediately inquire your concern. "Excuse me? May I ask what the commotion is about?"
The kakushi you've known to be Michi immediately informed you of his worries that reflects the dangerous situation outside, guiding you towards a safer area of the establishment as the fight outside continues. "Y/N-sama! We've been attacked by hundreds of demons! He seemed to have known that you'd be here!"
Hearing the information and knowing who might have found you even without an utterance of his name seemed to claw at your heart, gripping it tightly as if reminding you that you've nowhere left to run as you ask meekly. "How did they manage to do it? Aren't the wisterias enough to drive his subordinates away?"
Your raging thoughts are momentarily forgotten when Michi worriedly informs you, halting his movements when the quaking nearby almost reached your location. "We're unsure how they did it, but all of the wisterias protecting the estate have been destroyed. The Hashiras are trying their best to fight him along with the others helping them out."
It's a dead end for you now and it's time to accept such fact. The guilt you feel from having everyone giving their efforts in fending the enemies simmered down your fears. Now's not the time to be controlled by it, not when the demon slayers and everyone else are fighting for their lives all because of someone they are trying to protect from Muzan. You remain unknown of the reason why he seemed to have been awfully smitten by you, wanting you to be his that you have been lucky enough to avoid him for quite some time when you've managed to catch him off guard and flee. Such thought can only leave you shuddering in distress as you heavily sighed.
The request afterwards from Ubuyashiki for you to stay within his estate as a form of protection and knowing more about the man that was too mysterious for you caused you to be wary further, but it ends now. Solemnly smiling with your unfortunate fate after realizing that Muzan really is a stubborn and powerful individual that no matter how much you or anyone else tries to defy him, it remains a displeasing truth. No matter how hard you try and how much effort you would put into trying to hide away from him, he would remain determined to search for you. And now that he knows where you are, it would be almost impossible to easily shoo him away.
