We drove to the clan's house, where Heeseung immediately greeted us. The boy explained that he just came to check how's Jiwon feeling. I knew the girl was awake, but I had to see her. I had to see with my own eyes that she was alive and safe.
"Did you notice anything last night?" Heeseung asked as Jungwon hung the helmets on the steering wheel, "We sensed a few scents that definitely belong to wolves. But it wasn't any of us, so someone had watched her house before."
When I heard that, I immediately felt like I couldn't take breath. Nobody told me before that they found something. I knew they didn't want me to be scared and to panick, but I guess I had a right to know that someone was watching and following me, right?
"But there was no one there that night. The smell was from a few days ago." Jungwon added, "I don't like it." Heeseung muttered to himself.
I wanted to say something, I didn't know what, but I wanted to speak. However when Jungwon grabbed my hand, I forgot everything in a second. The leader looked at our clasped hands with a big smile, but said nothing. However, it was evident that he was relieved.
"I think we will have to tell the other clans about Jaeun." he said after a moment, "No way," Jungwon hissed, "You said you won't do it. It might lead to something more dangerous!"
"I know I said that I don't want to do that," Heeseung started, and let out a sigh,"But we may have no other choice. Those who are looking for Jaeun are definitely not a small group. We may not be able to deal with it by ourselves." the boy assured, and then we entered the house where the rest were waiting for us.
I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw Jiwon among them. She had a few bruises on her neck and face, her arm was wrapped in bandages, but she was still smiling broadly letting me calm down that she didn't suffer anymore. Next to her was Jungmi, who was still looking at her as if to make sure nothing was happening.
