035 — our destiny.

I knew something bad was happening as soon as I saw Jungwon behavior. He was scared, at all costs he wanted me to get dressed quickly, and wouldn't take his eyes off me.

"Jungwon, what's going on?" I asked when I was ready. I have never put on my laced shoes so fast in my life, "I don't know, but we shouldn't be here alone now." he muttered, then, not paying attention to anything, told me to get on his back, and we ran towards the house at and unimaginable speed.

The blanket and everything we took with us was left by the river, but it wasn't important to him now. "Heeseung!" Jungwon shouted as loud as he cound when we approached our clan's houses.

I knew the leader would definitely hear it, because the vampires' hearing was just impressive. And just like I thought, Heeseung ran out of our house and approached as quickly as he could, already standing in front of us in literally two seconds.

"Someone's observing us." Jungwon said seriously, setting me down. All my clothes were wet as the boy put me into the water with my clothes on, but I didn't care too much, considering that a few minutes ago we were running away from The Cursed. "I don't know how many exactly," the boy continued, "But they are in the spotlight. Certainly a lot. The fragrances were mixed with each other."

"Get Jaeun out of here, hide her. And I'll take the rest, we'll look around." Heeseung said serously, "No!" I shouted immediately, grabbing Jungwon's hand, "Don't go, please. Don't leave me.."

"Hey darling, everything will be fine." he assured, caressing my cheek and then smiled at me. There was absolutely nothing in that smile. It was forced, which I would sense even from a distance of several kilometers.

I knew that nothing was and was not going to be okay. I was locked in Jungwon's room again with Jiwon, Jungmi, and Chae. I had no idea where the other women of Heeseung's clan and Taeyong's pack were. To be honest, I didn't care much at the moment, because only the girls who were with me and the boys who were risking their lives for me again mattered.
