Gulki's Pov

"I'm not interested in your so called "Anurag". I don't even care. But don't hang too much with hi--"

"Yukku ! Gulki !" I heard Ammi coming towards us.

I was too much irritated to listen to her so I walked upstairs and shut my room's door.

And that Kapoor, everytime she's just talking about that Anurag (ಠ_ಠ). Who the hell is that guy, ain't I am the one whom she lov----

F**k Gulki, what the hell are you thinking about. Why do you care about Kapoor ? You turned down her letter. Why do you even bother yourself ?

I guess I had seen too much movie today. Agh. Why do I bother so much at this point ?

.....Whatever I'll just text Prid that I'll be absent tomorrow in school. Ammi is being too cheesy and will do a emotional attack if I don't go with them. Again with that silly Kapoor.

Yukku's POV

"Good Mooooorning! Yukku ? Are you awake?"

I opened my eyes to see Aunt Arachana giggling. "Today... we are going to my friend's baby shower! And you are going with Me!"

"Yes, Auntie." I yawned. "Is Gulki..."

I stopped. Why am I thinking about her so early in the Morning?

"Hihi! She is joining us too, of course! So up you get and prepare", then Auntie went out.

It's just 5am, but thankfully, I was able to sleep well last night. I checked my phone.

for any messages before going to the bathroom.

Oh, Anurag texted 'it's okay".

Whatever, it took me some minutes to prepare. and by the time I went down, they are all ready to go. Poonam is in the car, still sulky because she doesn't want to sit on the driver's side. Gulki is in the backseat, with her earphones on and sleeping. I sat beside her.

Only Aunt Arachana seemed to be happy with this trip. I wonder what she told Gulki to Make her go with us?

"You Might be wondering why Gulks is also here?" Auntie said, looking at me through the rear view mirror. "Well, I just have Mentioned some magic words..." she winked, then drove off.

I glanced at Gulki. I still don't understand her. It's been two weeks since I started living with her but I still can't read her.

Is she asleep?

I stared at her intently. She sure is asleep. It's not questionable, since it's still early---

The car suddenly stopped and too many. things happened at exactly one time.

Aunt Arachana screamed, "He vagban !" Poonam shouted. And because I wasn't paying attention, I almost bumped into the car seat in front of me if not only for...

"Are you okay?"

I stared at Gulki. She's holding me--hand in front of me across to my shoulder, and looking worried.

"I... Y-Yes--"

"Yukku !" Aunt Arachana said and her daughter Immediately released me. "Are you fine? And you Gulks ?"

"Yes, Auntie," I said, slightly feeling awkward. My heart is starting to beat fast again.

"What happened?" Gulki said, looking out of the window.

"That car in front suddenly stopped without signal! If I hadn't stopped in the last minute, we could have crashed! Wait, beta, where are you going?"

Gulks went out of the car. She walked straight to the car stopped in front.
