Chapter 2: New Champions

Tonight I was teaming with Dean to take on Nikki Bella and John Cena. The U.S. and Divas title were on the line.

We were with Joe, Colby, and the rest of he gang at catering. I was next to Dean and he had his arm around me.

"I just love how you guys are matching." Nikki says.

"Thanks. It was actually his idea." I say.

"Really?" Brie asks.

"I thought it'd be cool. Plus, she has some new gear Sandra's surprising her with and it won't be done for a while." Jon says.

"That's so adorable." Paige says.

I blush and Jon kisses my cheek.

"It's gonna be adorable when Jon and I take those titles from you, Bella and Cena." I say.

Everyone ohhhh's.

"We'll see about that, Radke." Cena says.

"You will, Cena. That title is gonna look real good when it's back on my mans waist." I say as Jon smirks.

"And that divas title is gonna look even better when it's back on my girls waist." Jon says and I smirk.

We all laugh.

"Hey, Kate, wanna come with Colby and I to get something real quick?" Joe asks.

"Yeah, sure." I say.

I kiss Jon then get up and walk away with Colby and Joe. We were down a hall.

"Listen... We just wanna thank you." Colby says.

"For what?" I ask.

"Changing Jon for the better. You take care of him. Care for him. You never gave up on him and never do. You keep it straight and real with him." Joe says.

"When he's in Moxley mode, you're the only one that can fully calm him down. We can only calm him down a little bit. You are his obsession. He will never let anything ever happen to you. And you'll do the same." Colby says.

"Thank you, guys. I know we came off to a rough start. So, thank you for accepting me and giving me a chance and making me apart of not only The Shield but your guys' families as well." I say.

"No problem." They say and we group hug them go back to everyone.

"Ambrose! Radke! You're up!" We hear.

Jon and I hold hands and walk to the curtain as everyone cheers us on. Jon's theme plays and we walk out, hand in hand.

"And their opponents, in a combined weight of 350 lbs, the team of Dean Ambrose and Katie Radke!!" Lillian announces.

I jump on Jon's back and he laughs but holds me as the fans 'awww' and squeal.

Jon then walks down the ramp and I jump down. We get onto the apron and put a foot in the ring. We share a kiss then we get in the ring.

~Towards end of the match~

John and Jon were battling at ringside. Nikki got me up on her shoulders but I fight out of it.

Nikki and I turn around at the same and I kick her in the gut. I hit the old version of the Dirty Deeds (headlock driver) and pin her.

"1!"

"2!"

"3!"

Ding. Ding. Ding.

"Here are your winners, and the new WWE United States Champion, Dean Ambrose, and the new WWE Divas Champion, Katie Radke!!" Lillian announces.

Jon looks over at me and had the biggest smile on his face.

"You did it!" He says, after getting in the ring.

I was smiling and crying. I got up and ran into his arms as he lifted me in a kiss. The fans went insane.

He puts me down and we get our titles. He lifts me onto his hip and we raise our titles up. He puts me down and we go backstage.

As soon as we got backstage, everyone congratulates us.

Joe and Colby squeezed the shit out of us.

"Congrats, guys. You both deserve those titles." Joe says.

"Thanx, guys. We're champions because of her." Jon says, holding me close and kissing my cheek.

Jon and I held hands and went to our locker room.
