You and the man (from part 1) were in a private taxi.
"The shop please" you said.
The taxi stopped outside of the shop and you and the man got out, it was some sort of suit shop, or as one may call it, a tailor. You both walked inside and a man said.
"Arthur's in the dining room"
You both walked upstairs towards the dining room.
"Arthur" you both said as you went to take a seat.
"Galahad, Percival, the others were beginning to wonder if we were going to have a triple toast" said Arthur
You and Galahad (as the man's kingsman name was) sat down opposite each other and put your glasses on, you could see 6 other people, however, normally, you would've seen 7, the empty seat was next to you.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm thankful to say it's been 17 years since we last had the occasion to use this decanter, Lancelot... Was an outstanding agent and a true Kingsman, He will be sorely missed, To Lancelot." Arthur said as he raised a shot in the air to salute James
"To Lancelot" everyone replied
"I intend to start the selection process for Lancelot's replacement tomorrow. I want each of you to propose a candidate and have them report to UK HQ no later than 9:00 p.m. GMT, Thank you." Arthur finished as you all took off your glasses.
"Merlin. Come in." Arthur said
He turned to you and Harry (Galahad)
"Lancelot was Investigating a group of mercenaries who were experimenting with biological weaponry" said Arthur
"Glasses, everyone please." Said Merlin "Uganda, 2012. Synthetic cathinones, they put it in the water supply of a guerilla army base, rage, cannibalism, multiple fatalities. Chechnya 2013, insurgents turned on one another, indisputably, the work of our mercenaries, but no trace of any chemicals of any kind."
"So what happened to Lancelot?" you asked
"Tracked him to this property, in Argentina, while he had them under surveillance, he became aware they'd effected a kidnapping, so he executed a solo rescue mission, which failed. This is his last transmission" Merlin said.
The transmission said: Kidnap victim is Professor James Arnold.
"Who is he?" Said Harry
"Some climate-change doomsayer, expounds something called Gaia theory about the world healing itself or some such" you said, you had read about him in an article before now.
"But what's curious, is he's not actually missing, theres a video of him this morning caught by CCTV footage at Imperial College, the information is all yours" Merlin says as he gave you the information files.
"Try picking a more suitable candidate this time." Says Arthur to you
"17 years, and still evolving with the time remains an entirely foreign concept to you, need we remind you non of us would be here if it weren't for that young man?" Said Harry defending you .
"He was as much Kingsman material as any of them, more so." You said.
"But he wasn't exactly one of us, was he?" Arthur said "Let's face it Percival, your little experiment failed."
You stood up to leave.
"With respect Arthur, you're a snob." You said.
"With respect?" He said
"The world is changing, there's a reason why aristocrats developed weak chins" you said and walked off.
"Couldn't agree more" Harry said as he got up and left as well
Harry caught up with you on your way out.
"Arthur can be such an idiot at times" you said
"Correct" he said "got any ideas for your candidate?"
"Yes actually" you said "Remember that little boy, Eggsy?"
