Sirius had a rotten summer. There was no other way to put it. He had tried to talk to Regulus but he never got a response, but he was happy he was going back to the first real home he had. When James arrived he was overjoyed that he got to see his best friend again, but when Remus arrived he felt something different, he didn't know what this feeling was, but Remus kept coming into his mind, he remembered writing Lily over the summer, it sounded like her summer was rotten as well, her sister pretending she didn't exist (Sirius could relate Regulus would do the same) and not being able to see her friends, (again he could relate) and her parents were being overbearing. (which Sirius could not relate to, his parents hated him)and he had told her everything that was happening with his parents and brother. How he was threatened with being disowned when his Mother found out he was making friends with muggle-borns, all the times she cursed him (literally with curses) whenever he disagreed with her views. He wanted to help others so he was willing to get tortured so his brother didn't, whenever he said something their parents deemed wrong Sirius would say something even worse so they would take their anger out on him instead. Regulus was the only friend Sirius had growing up; their parents would hardly let them out of the house except to see their other family. Andromeda had always been Sirius's favourite cousin, she didn't exactly hold the same views as the rest of the family as she married a muggle-born and recently had a baby with him Sirius had met him during his first year and Andy's last one, she had baby Nymphadora at age 18. Ever since the family found out that Andromeda was dating a muggle-born and was planning on marrying the man she was disowned almost immediately, he saw her get burned off the family tree and was told he would be next if he kept associating himself with Muggleborns (his parents called them something very different and a lot worse) and blood trators. Remus must have mentioned that Sirius seemed off because Lily crashed through the door (James immidiatly went bright red) "Sirius" she said sounding concerned as she sat down opposite him. her green eyes were filled with concern and her red hair was tied back into a ponytail, "you didn't respond to my last letter and Remus Told me you were acting off," Lily said sounding as concerned as she looked. she had sent Sirius a letter a month ago detailing her week and her interactions with her sister(which he was somewhat envious of even though they were negetive, Regulus wouldn't even look at him).
