'Thoughts'
"Speech"
It was a stormy day on the planet of coruscant with speeders flying by hight in the upper levels of the planet. In the lower parts of coruscant it was damp, cold, and sprinkling with few rays of light coming from the upper part of the planet. On the streets there were many different species walking around going to clubs, and partaking in criminal acts, or just trying to scavenge what ever they could find to feed themselves or other people. But there was one kid who was walking around all alone his name was Adonis (or whatever you want to call yourself) he was tall for an 8 year old human and he had blood stained on his shirt, weather it was his or someone else's it was up in the air. The boy had a dull, emotionless expression on his face just wandering shaking from the cold. Occasionally he would bump into people who would just look at him with a look of pity before moving on with their pitiful existence. The boy went into an ally way and found a broken umbrella that he managed to open up just enough to shield him from the rain which was now coming down harder.
He was starting to get very tired and his eyes started to flutter and his head started nodding trying to keep himself awake.
'no' the boy thought to himself 'I . . . must not . . . fall . . . asleep'
Just as he was about to slip into a slumber a man in brown robes crouched in front of him.
"Are you alright boy?" The man asked. "Where are your parents. Surely they wouldn't leave a boy to fend for himself out in the dangerous parts of coruscant."
"No."
"No, what?" The man asked with a soft gaze.
"Parents, I'm all alone." You replied.
He studied you for a moment. "Do you know what happened to them then, boy?"
"I don't know." You said in a low voice. "I haven't seen my mom in over a year."
At that the man had a shocked then sad look on his face. "Why don't you come with me. I'm a jedi. Come with me back to the temple, I sense tremendous power in you boy."
You just looked at him with a apprehensive look. You didn't trust him. He said that he was a Jedi but anyone could claim to be one. You needed proof.
"S-show me your lightsaber. I-I-if your a real one show me." You said as you stood up and backed a way slowly. The man just put on a soft smile and pulled his saber out and ignited it showing an emerald green blade. You looked at it in awe. He then said "see, my lightsaber as you asked.". You quickly recovered from amazement from seeing a real lightsaber. But you still didn't trust him.
"If you are-are a truly a jedi. . . . uh. . . use the force." You told him with a hard stare. He just looked at you and was trying not to laugh. He sighed "If I show you the force will you then come with me and trust me?" He looked at you with expecting eyes. You nodded. "Very well then." He used the force to snatch the umbrella from out of your hands as it floated into his. You looked on with an amazed expression. "Now then come with me." He said, as he turned and walked away. You quickly ran beside him as you headed to his ship, ready to begin a new part of your life and leave everything else behind.
[2 hours later at the jedi temple]
You were waiting outside of the council room in new clean clothes ;though they were a bit baggy, to be judged on weather or not the council would let you train to become a jedi. The man that brought you here was named cin drallig. You learned that he was what the jedi called the battle master. He was the guy who basically trained most of the younger generation of jedi and was one of the best in the order. The thought of you wielding your own lightsaber and using the force filled your heart with something you haven't felt in months. Joy. You looked out the window across from you and see all of the jedi knights, masters and padawans that are studying text or just laughing along with friends. You were soon brought out of your thoughts by the man, Cin Drallig, called for you to come into the room.
