Blue's P.O.V.

"Family of Diamond Carter."

I stood up along with Smoke and my mom

"How is she?" I asked the doctor

"Miss Carter lost a lot of blood. Your lucky you got her here when you did or she would she would have passed. We need at least two more pints of blood for her."

"What's her blood type?" My mom asked

"She has an O blood type."

"We'll donate. " My mom said refereeing to her and me. We all have an O blood type

A nurse lead us to a room. I hate needles with a passion but I'm doing this for Diamond.

....

The nurse gave us some cookies and orange juice when we were all done. Fuck that shit, I need a Big Mac. Feel like I'm ready to pass out.

I leaned back and closed my eyes

"You good son?" My mother, Toya asked me

"Yea ma, just dizzy."

"So...you wanna explain to me who this girl is and why she in the hospital."

"Diamond is Avery's girl....he's the reason."

A sheer look of horror passed through my mom's face.

"Janet ruined that boy." My mom said shaking her head.

Like a said before Avery doesn't have the best past

Thank God Smoke is asleep. Lemme hear about this and he gonna flip his shit.

As much as Smoke stay picking on Diamond, he does have love for her.

"Mr Washington, Miss Carter is awake."

"Thank you." I said getting up

"You go on ahead. I believe y'all need a moment together." My mom said

I nodded my head and left. I walked over to her room, I took a breath before entering.

Diamond was getting checked out by the doctor.

"My baby...hows my baby?" I heard Diamond ask in a soft voice

"I'm very sorry Miss Carter, but the baby didn't make it."

Diamond's eyes watered and she shook her head okay

I cleared my throat letting my presence be known.

A small smile formed on Diamond's face when she saw me "Blue."

"How are you feeling baby girl?" I asked sitting near her

I grabbed her hand. I stroked it like how my dad does when he trying to comfort my mom.
I'm not very good with words. I let my actions speak.

"The baby."

"I know, it's gonna be okay Dia. You can always have another."

Was that last part the right thing to say. I'm really not sure?

"I want to be discharged today." Diamond said to the doctor

"I'm sorry miss but that is not going to happen. By the end of the week, you may be released."

With that Doctor exited the room

"Why you in such a rush to get out of here?" I asked Diamond

"My nana always said the longer you stay in a hospital the sicker you get."
