Chapter 18

"YOU DON'T have work today mama?" my son asked me while eating breakfast.

"I don't and you know what that means" I said and winked at him.

"We're gonna gisit grandpa and grandma's company!" he looks excited after he said that.

I nodded at him that made his smiel wider.

Our breakfast went well, after that I asked Vier to take a bath but he said he can do it on his own now so I let him be.

I started to pack the things that we're about to bring.

Minutes later my son called me saying that he's done.

I preoared his clothes and dressed him up, I also asked him to stay in the living room and watch something while I'm preparing.

After taking a bath I did my routine and dressed up.

I'm wearing a white above elbow sleeve matching with a straight leg cargo pants with thin belt on my waist. I brushed my light ash gray hair upwards and goes downstairs. I saw my son sitting on the couch, focused in the movie. He's also wearing white but it's a polo shirt tucked in with his khaki pants, his black jet hair is disheveled and it suits him.

When he felt my presence he quickly turned his head to my direction, and there he is smiling wide as he started to walk towards me.

"You're gorgeous mama" he said and looked up to meet my eyes.

"Aww you're so sweet Vier and handsome too" I poked his pointed nose that made him pouted.

"My mama is beautiful that's why I'm handsome" he held my hand and pulled it, telling me that we're going now.

"You sure that it's because of your mama?" I grinned and teased him.

"Yes, because I came from you" he said while I'm putting our things at the backseat.

"Uh huh" I teased him more that made his lips pouted again and his brows furrowed.

"You and dad are the reason why I'm here but you were the one who felt every pain while carrying me mom" he said suddenly that made my heart happy.

"Aww my baby's so sweet" I leaned and kissed his forehead.

"Let's go?" I held his hand and made him sat on the passenger seat.

I walked towards the other side and sat on the driver's seat.

When I got in I buckled Vier's and mine's seatbelts and started the car.

In the middle of the ride I glanced at my son and called his attention.

"Yes mom?"

"Do you want something?" I asked him then turned my sight back at the road.

"We can get a drink mama" he smiled at me tilted his head.

"Okay let's stop near here"

After I parked my car I held Vier's hand and begun to walk towards the shop.

Vier ordered a smoothie and I ordered latte, after that we got back to the car and drove off.

We reached mom and dad's company and the staffs and people greeted us the moment we got inside.

Vier doesn't like to create friends that much but he knows how to socialize well.

In short he got half of his attitude from his dad.

We stepped in teh elevator and pressed the highest floor.

Vier's excited, I can feel it.

The elevator made a little sound, making us know that we already reached the floor.

This floor is private, that means no one can step in here unless my parent's approve it.

I have a pass that the elevator scanned the moment we stepped in here earlier.

When we opened the door I saw my mom sitting on the couch an dmy dad at his swivel chair.

Their eyes immediately found us and my mom quickly walked towards us, dad is in her back.

"Grandma!" Vier smiled widely and walked gracefully towards them.

"Rile, Reille" my mom smiled at us while dad is holding her waist.

"Give me my mom first dad" I turned to my dad and raised him a brow.

"No you're not our baby anymore, it's now Xavier" he said, smirking.

Mom giggled while hugging Vier and smacked dad's arm gently.

I laughed to piss my dad more.

"See, she hit you 'cause she loves me more than she loves you" I stuck my tongue out at him.

"Mama you looked like a bully" my son turned to me and I stared at him shocked.

"You got it right bud!" my dad and Vier did a high five and he lifted him up towards the couch.

"Hi hon" my mom held my hand and hugged me tight.

"Hi mom, tell dad to sleep on the couch tonight" I said that made her laughed too.

"Sure will do" she poked my nose and hugged me from my side.

She guided me through the couch too.

"Have you two eaten yet?" mom asked us while she's preparing sa snack.

"Yes grandma"

"Yes mom"

My son and I both said in unison that made us four laughed.

"How about you two?" I asked my parents and they answered 'already done!"

"I really can't believe it" my dad suddenly uttered that made us confused.

"Hmm? what is it cariño?" my mom sat beside him and my dad held her hand.

I cleared my throat and they both looked at me and laughed.

"Our genes are strong but Rile only got Mireille's eyes" he chuckled, well fact our family genes are strong.

"Well that's Beaufort" my mom said, smiling while shaking her head.

"Oh my dad?" Vier suddenly spoke, who was busy eating cookies.

"Yes baby" I answered him and he smiled at me.

"By the way Reille" my mom called my attention.

"Hmm?"

"They're here" she said making my ehes widened, and before I could react the door opened.

Revealing the person that I'm not expecting today.

"Missed me?"
