Chapter 24

IT'S BEEN a month and next week is Xavier's birthday.

For the past days I decided that now is the time that Xavier and his dad meet.

I got his phone number from the 2nd AS, It's our deal so...

I clicked his number and closed my eyes tightly before pressing the call button.

It took a while before he picked it up.

At first I didn't speak, I only heard breathings.

"Who the fuck is this?" well what do I expect?

Typical 3rd AS, I just shrugged before speaking.

"Hello" I spoke and I heard a moment of silence in the other line.

"W-Wait shit!" I heard him hissed and some falling objects I think?

I heard him cleared his throat and he spoke.

"Who is this?" oh really Beaufort?

His voice is more calmer now.

"It's Zeline"

"Zeline who?" he respond but I heard the little playfulness in hus voice.

"Guillaume, Zeline Guillaume" I sighed, starting to get annoyed.

"I don't know anyone named Zeline Guillaume" he said that made me roll my eyes.

I'm sure that this man is fooling around.

"Is that so? the I'll hang up now" I said and a smirked appeared on my face when I heard him whispering curses.

"W-Wait uh I think I know you" his voice became more cheerful.

"Oh yeah?" I raised my brow even though he doesn't see me.

"Yeah uh Zeline Beaufort, right?"

Damn, right we're not divorced.

I did sent him a divorce paper but he just sent it back to me with no changes.

"Okay fine whatever, the reason why I call is to ask you if you are free tomorrow?" I asked and yawned.

It's ten in the evening but yeah I called him, I felt sorry tho.

"Yes I am" he answered smoothly.

"Okay I'll just send you the location of our meet up" I said and waited for his response.

"Aight"

I was about yo hang up when he called me.

"Reille"

"Hmm?"

"Take care and uh see you two soon" he said and unconsciously I smiled.

Indeed a great father.

"You too, see you" I said and hang up.

It's been six years since I last saw him personally.

The reason why I called him was to talk about Xavier.

For his birthday and the father figure.

Even though I know that Alexander is seeing our son secretly.

After the call I checked my son first before going to bed.

I SLOWLY opened my eyes and turned to my clock.

It's still early but I already got up.

I need to prepare early 'cause my son can't see me going out.

It will ruin the surprise, so I'm gonna call someone to look after Xavier while I'm out.

I went to the bathroom to do the routine before going downstairs.

I also cooked breakfast before taking a bath.

I wire a Korean style white blouse with a black flare trouser. I also tied my gray hair into a messy bun, sprayed a perfum and wear my necklace with a design of Xavier's second name.

I paired my outfit with my white sandal before going down.

When I got down I saw the person I called to look after Vier.

I smiled at him but it quickly turned into a smirk when I saw who's with he.

I cleared my throat before speaking.

"Thank you Eli" I said and he smiled.

"Anytime miss" I tapped his back before turning to hus back.

"Why're you here?" I raised a brow at him and he chuckled.

"Can't I?"

I laughed before tapping his back too.

"I'll get going" I said to the two and they bid their good bye's to me.

I also put a sticky note in the counter so the three of them will see that I cooked already.

I drove off my car to the location.

Minutes later I already arrived, we have a reservation and from the outside I saw him through the glass door.

As soon as I enter inside his gaze turned to me quick.

I walked towards our table and greeted him.

"Good morning" I said, but he's like a statue.
