Chapter 27

I WOKE up early and got out of my room to check on Xavier.

As I'm walking towards I unconsciously looked down and saw a built of a man.

Wait...

Oh right! he's here, I forgot.

I continued walking and reached Vier's room. I peeked a little and saw him still sleeping. I closed the door gently and proceed to go downstairs.

I saw him standing and facing the glass see through wall.

I walked near him and cleared my throat.

He turned to my direction and walked too.

"Good morning" he greeted and scratched his nape.

"Uh good morning" I said and smiled.

"About yesterday" he smiled awkwardly and looks at me apologetically.

"Ah yes, don't worry it's fine" I said and looked away.

It's fine Zeline? really?

"Still, I'm sorry for the damages I caused" his eyes softened and looked down.

"Double meaning?" I said and when he looked at me in a shock expression, I stiffled my laugh and turned around.

When I turned to him again I saw him smiling while staring at me.

I came back to my senses and cleared my throat.

"S-Sorry" I fixed my hair and looked away.

"Hmm" he hummed, still not taking off his stare at me.

"S-So uh have you already check on Vier?"

"Yes earlier, I also got out and bought ingredients at the supermarket to cook breakfast"

"You should eat now, I already cooked" he added.

I smiled and invites him to join me.

Our breakfast went peacefully and the exact time that we're done eating, Xavier wokes up.

I looked at Sky and nodded before smiling.

He slowly walks toward the stairs up to Xavier's room.

How did we know that Xavier is already awake? baby monitor.

Later on I heard laughs and Vier's voice, there I saw them going downstairs.

Xavier is being carried by his father on his right arm while my son I mean our son is clinging onto his father's neck while laughing.

"Mama mama!" he called me and pointed at his father, smiling widely.

"Yes baby" I softly smiled and reached his hand.

"Does that means..." he giggled and clapped.

We laughed at his cute action but Xavier seems to be ain't bother.

The morning went well and Xavier asked us if we three can go out together, we're now at an amusement park.

He's now eating an ice cream and sitting on the bench.

I glanced at Sky and accidentally put my gaze onto his neck when I saw something shiny.

My forehead creased and unconsciously raised a brow.

"Is there a problem Reille?" I snapped back when I heard his voice.

"Uh no" I softly scratched my brow and looked away.

I glanced at him again, but now in my peripheral vision and what made me shock is what I saw.

The gun pendant...
