Hassan POV
As we entered the faintly green glowing building, we found it bare inside except for an altar with a grate in front. Reyna stepped towards the altar and began to speak.
"Oracle of Delphi, we humbly beseech you and and for your aid. We are on a quest to delay a great calamity, but we know not how or where to begin. Please offer us your guidance."
Reyna finished speaking and then we stood there waiting but nothing seemed to happen. "Uh did we do something wrong?" Aiden asked. "No we didn't, that's the correct way to contact the orac-ugh!" Reyna collapsed to the ground.
I ran forward as did Angelica but Reyna's body suddenly floated upwards and her eyes opened, now pulsating green.
"Heroes hear me now. A grave danger is coming, Gaia will return with more powerful allies. The last victory over her was a light task compared to this one. The hero of the sea is the only one who can stop her, but now is not yet his time. You must all rally together to prolong the inevitable. Go to the island of Ithaca, the spirit of its greatest hero will guide you further."
Reyna's body then collapsed to the ground. I quickly picked her up and she soon awoke, looking up at me dazed. "What- what happened?" She asked.
"The spirit of the oracle took over your body and gave us a message. Apparently only the heir of the sea can stop Gaia rising again but now is not the time. We need to delay her rise and to do so we must travel to Ithaca and speak to its hero, I think you know as well as I do who that is." I responded.
Reyna stared at me, still dazed before suddenly she realised. "Ulysees! Of course".
"His actual name is Odysseus" I muttered and Reyna scowled at me. "You know I'm a Roman, now put me down!"
I gently lowered her to the ground and as her feet touched the floor she stumbled but I caught her before she hit the ground. Our faces were close and as I pulled her up she immediately let go of me and looked away.
"I ship it." Aiden said cheekily but he received a prompt elbow to the gut from Angelica. "Come on then" she said, "we know where we have to go now".
