Chapter 1 - where it all falls apart

Slipping through my fingers - ABBA

Somtimes I wish that I could freeze the picture
And save it from the funny tricks of time

The mission continued, even against the odds.

There were obstacles everywhere.

Boulders fell from the sky, but the ninjas avoided them all and protected.

They draw their weapons, slashing through thick rock, freezing them until it could shatters by a simple pick of the nail. Burn them as if they fell in a pit of never ending burning lava.

A well known friend of the ninjas accompanied them, saving from children to elders of being crushed. They were praised, but soon had to shrug it off as they combated the monster.

"We need to lure it out!" The red ninja yelped as he was about to be bitten by the ginormous beast. The rest agreed, soon forming a plan.

The blue ninja was used as bait along with the masked combator. "HEY OVER HERE!" Jay yelled while Eden waited for its eyes. It took the bait, eyes landing on a very funny sight (for the ninjas).

The masked person blew a rasberry at the beast, doing funny face even with their mouth covered. They waved their pointer fingers at the side of their head.

The blue ninja, once filled with a confidence boost, decided to mock its cries and yells.

It infuriated the monster, its ears almost fuming. The boy grinned while they simply nodded, "It got the bait!" The ninja and friend started to run towards the sea.

The beast followed close by, their slither echoing behind the runners. It wanted to seek revenge from whatever that mocked it. The monster saw red everywhere, meat at every living thing and blood once it wanted it gone.

There was no mercy in between.

Jay yelled, his adrenaline shattering when fangs were close to rip him off. His collar got yanked in front, getting on the desting bounty. "Oh my god this was a NIGHTMARE!" Eden jumped, gracefully getting inside as well.

"Okay, now lets draw it out of here." The girl in red firmly nodded, getting to the driver place. As predicted, the monster followed through the water. "It can climb, eat people raw and swim, that's just fantastic." The blue ninja rolled with his sarcasm, getting hit behind his head.

The white beard man spoke up, "I fear that we have lost what we needed to succeed." He shook the empty elixir. Everyone looked back, slightly wide eyes took over their features. "What?!"

The white ninja looked back down, being surprised by a big, wide open mouth, ready to devour whatever their is on its way. "We need to find something-" Kai pipped in, slightly filled with fear. "Or else we're dead meat, literally."

Cole looked back frantically to his sensei, "There must be something?"

The elder shook his head, displeased by his own action. "I'm afraid there isn't." All hung their head down in defeat, until the flying boat shook violently.

"It's gaining on us! We're all goinna die!" Jay wrapped his arms around hismelf, feeling only despair. The fire ninja stomped his foot on the ground, "What if we just force him away? Or drown him or anything to slow or get it away!" Any ideas could work at this point.

Snapping fingers interrupted the gloomy atmosphere. "Kai for one you're a genius." They ignore his whining. Eden pointed to the beast who gained proximity way to fast.

The ninjas looked confused, waiting for an explanation quickly. "If we are able to damage it well from the inside, it will die on its own in the middle of the sea."
