Chapter one - Hurt

Hey! I'm starting a new story that I have a lot of ideas for so here it is. Steddie of course

"Come on Steve we are gonna be late, Robin and them are already there!" Nancy shouts from downstairs waiting for Steve to finish his hair. "I'm trying to hurry!" Steve yells out touching up strains on his head. The group was going to The Cherry Bar to see Eddie and the band preform. It was their 5th gig there and lots of people enjoyed their music. Steve grabs his keys and wallet shoving them into his pocket as he makes his way down his stairs. "I'm ready!" He shows a small grin as he approaches his girlfriend. "Finally come on."

They park in front of the bar seeing Jonathan Byers and Argyle standing there. "Hello Byers and Argyle." Steve says opening his car door and stepping out. "You guys are 20 minutes late, Eddie is almost up!" "Sorry Jonathan Steve took 30 minutes to fix his hair." Nancy lets out a small laugh following the two inside "Hey my hair is my most attractive piece, got to keep it nice" Steve says offended. They make their way to the back rooms where Eddie, Robin and her girlfriend Vickie are. "Holy shit they actually made it." Robin scoffs looking at Steve entering the room "Shut it Buckley" he says giving her a side hug. "Thanks for coming guys." Eddie stands up from behind the group holding his guitar in one hand. "Nice to see you.." He glances at Steve a little longer then the rest of the members, Nancy on his left arm.

While killing Vecna Steve and Eddie got very close, they ended up talking a lot about themselves to each other and sharing all kinds of stories. After Vecna was killed they started going out knowing they cared for each other, but after a while people started throwing hate at Steve. "Steve harrington is a fag now!" "Ew he's dating the freak?!" Steve couldn't handle it, he was scared. So he told Eddie he wanted to break up because he didn't think he could see himself full on gay.

"Well Eddie good luck! You know where we are in the crowd!" Robin starts as she shoves everyone out to the main room. "Thanks Rob." They all leave the room leaving Eddie and his band Mates alone.

It was time for Eddie to come up on stage, he had his guitar strapped to his back and some eyeliner under his eyes, Steve couldn't help but stare. "Thanks for coming out tonight!" Eddie says into the microphone feed back slightly ringing. "For our first song-" he glanced at Steve who was taking a sip of his drink he got from the bar tender. Giving it to Nancy for them to share. "Another love by Tom Odell!" The crowd cheers has the band starts the song. Eddie sings as he plays his guitar, looking over the crowd but his eyes always ending up on Steve. Eddie shouts the lyrics almost revealing how heart broken he is. "And I wanna cry! I wanna fall in love! But all my tears have been used up!" He grips the microphone continuing his gaze on Steve. Steve frowns looking up at the metal head. The song ends as the crowd claps and cheers, some refilling their cups. Eddie wipes his tears from his eyes. "For my next song! Sex on fire..by Kings of Leon!" Steve eyes go wide knowing that's the song Eddie always played while they messed around. Remembering all of their good times together. "Your sex is on fire!" Eddie sings as he takes off his shirt starting to sweat, he throws it to the side of him revealing all of his tattoos and sweat slightly dripping from his hair. A shade of pink spreading across Steve's face.

"What's this one?" Steve asks rubbing his fingers over Eddie's bat tattoo. "Those are my bats harrington, I thought they were cool so got them tattooed on me." Steve smiles listening to his boyfriend "you know Ozzy Osborn bit a bats head off on stage!"

Steve came out of his memories with a nudge from Nancy. "You okay love?" She yells into his ear trying to be heard over the band. Steve only nods with a small half smile, the song ends leaving Eddie on his knees with the microphone in his hand, guitar laying on his stomach. He lets out heavy breaths "That's all for tonight everyone!" He stands up glancing at Steve "we will be back next week for more!" Eddie grabs his shirt from the floor and swinging it over his shoulder as he walks off stage.

"Eddie that was amazing man!" Jonathan gives him a "dude" hug "hah thanks Byers tried my best." Eddie says taking a sip of water from his plastic bottle. "Nah dude you did great." Argyle chimes in "Thanks." Eddie puts his guitar in the case "Munson I didn't know you played love songs!" Robin teases talking about another love. "Ah well Buckley I guess you don't know everything about me" he gives a smirk grabbing a rag to wipe his sweat. "After party at my place just us?!" Robin shouts wrapping her arm around Vickie's waist "Yeah why not!" Jonathan shouts "Whoo!" Robin and Vickie head out through the back to the cars Jonathan and argyle following. "I'll meet you out there Nance." Steve says letting go of Nancy "Okay!" She kisses his cheek before heading out too. Eddie tries to ignore it "I don't need help Harrington why don't you just follow your little girlfriend and I'll meet you at Buckleys" Eddie clips the guitar case closed as he stands up meeting Steve's level. "Eddie..we broke up months ago why did you sing those songs" Eddie lets out a chuckle looking to the side and licking his lips before looking back at Steve. "It's not that easy to get over a break up harrington. Especially after telling that person everything along with I love you." Steve shows a small frown "I told you I was sorry." Steve mumbles looking down "Say sorry all you want, I loved you. And you couldn't stand being with the faggot freak." Eddie grabs his case leaving the room and out to his van.

Robin turned on music as she got out some drinks and cups for the crew, everyone in the kitchen expect for Eddie and argyle who were sitting in the living room smoking a joint. "Man when did you learn to play guitar like thattt" argyle says clearly high as a bird "Ah well when I was 8 my dad taught me, probably the only thing he didn't screw up in our "father son" relationship" Eddie says making quotes with his fingers. "Nah it's alright dude I'm not close with my patents either" Argyle mentions taking a hit.

"Robin you don't know how to mix drinks so don't even try or you'll get sick!" Steve shouts across the island "Oh shut it harrington it's not like you know how to mix them either." "Your right but I don't want you getting sick." Steve takes a cup pouring soda and vodka into it. "Whatever" Robin says before pouring random things into the cup. "Well I warned her, Vickie good luck." Steve makes his way to the living room Nancy following behind. They sit on the couch across from Eddie and argyle "Hey my dudes" Argyle says "Hey- uh dude?" Steve takes a sip of his drink glancing over at Eddie. "Eddie you did really good tonight! I was impressed heh" Nancy says sipping her soda "Thanks Wheeler, I appreciate it." Eddie gives a small grin. "Steve what did you think?" She asks poking his side a bit "Uh I thought it was cool.." he says in a low tone "Just cool?" Eddie asks tilting his head "yeah." Steve takes another sip of his drink. "Got it." Eddie stands up "well I should go I have things to do tomorrow and it's already late." "BOOO" Robin shouts from the kitchen "Leaving already Munson?" Jonathan asks making his way to the living room "Yep, thanks for coming guys again it means a lot to me." Eddie walks up to the door slipping his shoes and jacket on. "I'll let me walk you out! It's dangerous to walk to your car at night." Steve offers unwrapping his arm from Nancy and standing up "Sure." Eddie walks outside Steve following him.

"What do you want Steve?" Eddie asks looking for the right key to unlock his van door. "Look Eddie I feel like you hate me." "Why would you think that?" Eddie asks still looking at his keys "Well you give me this glare a lot..and we don't seem on the right terms." Steve shoves his hand in his Jean pockets keeping them warm. "Look harrington! I don't hate you got it?" Eddie turns around giving up on his keys "Yeah I'm a little Hurt but that's it! Can I go?" Steve looks a bit shocked "Uh..are you sure?" Eddie sighs "yeah man, I'm sure." He leans against his van "Okay..have a good night." Steve waves goodbye before making his way back to the house. "I hate you but I love you." Eddie says quietly before entering his van and driving off.

Yeah I don't know about this story but I have ideas for it so why not post it! Hope it was good and leave any suggestions for future chapters and stories, im planning on doing Steddie one shots so that would be helpful! Anyways thanks again!
