Nancy looked at Steve tears staring to prick her eyes. "Nancy.." Steve said watching her start walking away. Steve looked at Eddie who was already far away barley could see him with the snow. "Nancy wait!" Steve ran after her trying not to slip. "What just happened." Dustin asked turning to Robin "I'm not sure.."

"Nancy wait!" Steve said grabbing her arm "Let go Steve!" She sobbed "I'm sorry please just let me explain!" "There's nothing to explain Steve! You kissed Eddie." She looked down tears continue to fall down her pink cheeks "He kissed me! But..I kissed back.." Steve said starting to tear up "Steve please just leave me alone." She said turning away "Wait! Can we please just go sit down i'll explain everything." Steve was desperate he gripped Nancies hand harder. "Fine. 30 Minutes and I'm leaving"

"Just a coffee please, do you want anything?" Steve asked Nancy who was looking out the window of the cafe they were sitting in. She shook her head "She'll get a coffee too." Steve said to the waitress "Go on explain." She turned her head to look at him. "Look yes he kissed me first and yes I kissed back, I just couldn't help myself. Remembering those days we had together and then seeing him preform it brought everything back and I realized how much I missed him." Steve looked down at his shoes, fidgeting with his fingers. "Then why did you break up with him." Nancy asks "Because the thought of being with the same gender in a town like this terrified me. I didn't want to get hurt but I now realized I just hurt him.."

The waitress came over with their coffees, Nancy took a sip before placing her hand on Steve's "Look Steve i'm not expert on same gender relationships, Robin is the one for that but all I know is that you still love Eddie, a lot." She said calmly and quietly "I do..I miss him like crazy and after getting with you again I thought I would feel better because I loved you so much but deep down I just felt this knot in my stomach saying it isn't what I want." Steve looked up at Nancy tears filling his eyes. "I forgive you Steve, I always will." She said with a warm smile "Now you go get the person you love." She said sipping her coffee "What?" "Go on! Go get him!" She smiled, Steve got up grabbing his jacket and placing cash on the table. "Thank you Nancy." She nodded as Steve ran out the door.

Eddie was sitting on the couch playing his sweet guitar, he strummed it playing Your Song by Elton John. It wasn't his original metal music but he remembered playing it for Steve when they first started dating. He kept strumming but messing up the chords "Fuck!" He shouted fixing his hand position. "Why am I messing this up, I've played it a thousand times!" Eddie kept strumming but eventually gave up and lit a joint. He smoked it as he leaned against the couch, tilting his head back and blowing the smoke up. He suddenly heard a knock on the door, it wasn't his uncle because he was at work until late and the kids were in school. He got up holding the joint between his teeth and made his way to the door. He opened it and felt cool brisk wind hit his face as he made eye contact with Steve.

Eddie slammed the door shut not even saying a word to Steve, He knocked again hoping this time Eddie would let him in. "Come on man! It's freezing let me in!" He slurred out, Eddie groaned and opened the door again more harshly this time. "What do you want Harrington! Shouldn't you be with your little girlfriend?" Eddie asked leaning against the door frame "Please let me in and we will talk!" Steve shivered "It's coming down!" He said referring to the snow. "Ugh find Harrington but you have 10 minutes." Eddie walked back to the couch hearing Steve kick the snow off his shoes and shut the door. "Want some coffee." Eddie decided to ask because it was 20° outside and Steve must have been freezing. "Oh no I'm good I just really want to talk to you." "Steve there's nothing to talk about." Eddie said leaning against the couch again.

"yes there is!" Steve said desperately as he sat next to Eddie. "Eddie I broke up with Nancy." Eddies face went in shock "You what?" "Yeah." Steve said looking at Eddie "Why?" "I've been trying to tell you." He chuckled, Eddie sat up straight to face Steve he was ready to listen. "Look, we talked after she heard you say that stuff. And I told her how I felt about you. How big my feelings are for you" Steve grabbed Eddie's hand holding it in his. "I like you Eddie, a lot I always have. I knew when I was with Nancy that it didn't feel right, it's because I was in love with you the whole time. I couldn't get over that feeling."
