"What game are you playing?" Arjun inquired of Sherya.

"We're pretending to be a family. Teddy is the child, and I am the mother. Do you want to play? "Sherya explained

"I don't engage in girly activities. I am a boy ", he explained.

"Okay, I'll find another player. After all, a baby requires a father ", she said jokingly.

"No! I'll join ", he explained.

Her ruse had worked that day, she smiled triumphantly.

He smiled because, unbeknownst to her, he was desperate to play.

They then fought, and she sobbed. She said, her voice slurred by tears and she hit him and ran saying,

"You idiot, I hate you."

After 20 years,

He was sitting on the ground, holding a Teddy on his lap.

"What are you doing?" Sherya inquired.

"I'm pretending to be a family. Teddy is the child, and I am his father. Do you want to play?", he asked her.

She smiled as she looked at him, and recognition dawned on her.

"I don't engage in childish activities. I'm an adult now."

He simply smiled and nodded and spoke to the teddy, "Okay. Teddy, don't worry, we'll find you a new Mommy."

"Ohhh. New Mother? "She glared at him and began chasing him.

After a while, he gave in to her.

Exhausted, she leaned against him, head resting on his shoulders.

He took her head off his shoulders, made her stand straight on his knee, and handed her the Teddy.

She looked at him first, then at Teddy, and then she realised. The teddy's hand was clutching a ring.

"Will you join me in this game of life?" he asked.

She stared at him, unable to say anything. She shook her head, tears of joy streaming down her cheeks.

"You have to say yes right now. It is ineffective in sign language "He made fun of her.

"Yeshh you idiot," she cried hugging him.

Just like she used to.
