- Chapter 17

𝙲𝚞𝚛𝚛𝚎𝚗𝚝 𝚝𝚒𝚖𝚎 - 8.30 (8.30𝚊𝚖)

You were at awe once you arrived to the Liyue gates with the rest of the team. Although you arrived in the morning and barely had got any sleep in the pst 3 days because of the long travel, then that didn't stop you from jumping around happily. Especially since you were back at Liyue with the happy atmosphere. Tartaglia greeted you by the gates and then guided you through the town to the cafe. He showed you around and how you had to fill your "job" exactly. On the second floor of the cafe was your bedroom where you could rest.

Tartaglia turned to you and smiled

"Now...I trust you enough to leave you alone. I believe you won't try to escape, because if you do...you know what's coming a head right?"

"Ay ay captain!"

Since if was still early in the morning and the cafe opened by 10.00(10am). So you had quite some time to rest. You decided you'd explore more later since you had already jumped into bed and shut your eyes.
But you couldn't sleep. Something kept bothering you which left you restless.

Whatever, you had all night to sleep later. So you got up and went downstairs to the cafe and made yourself some coffee. One coffee won't hurt right? You weren't actually working here so it shouldn't be a problem making yourself one coffee for free. It was amazing to finally have some good coffee. The flavors were melting on your tongue. The bitter taste enlightening you. You just stood there gazing outside the window while enjoying your coffee. You decided to check the back of the cafe where all the things were kept. There were a bunch of boxes and lots of instant coffee. The instant coffee was one of a kind and only available from this cafe. So you decided to take one box for yourself. A box contained about 75 small packs of instant coffee so one pack should last you enough. And when the coffee would get over, by that time you would have probably visited Liyue again. You snuck the small box upstairs and into your bag. And by that time your day had already started, so you headed back downstairs to open up the cafe.

You gave the last customer a cup of coffee to go like they asked, and so your long day of work had ended.
The customer thanked you before leaving. You smiled as you waved at them before locking the cafe front door. Luckily or "unfortunately" the prince charming kid had not visited the cafe today, meaning you had to stay for longer. You wouldn't mind working here forever. It was pretty relaxed since it was a small cafe and there were practically only 2-3 customers visiting every 45min. Rather be here than filling those stupid documents for that blueberry head...maybe you could talk to Tartaglia and make him somehow make you work here. Maybe give some secret tasks or updates to the rest if the fatui when they are on missions in town. Maybe...

You were cleaning up the coffee bar before you heard the cafe back door open. You turned around to look who it was and not to your surprise, in walked Tartaglia with his usual sly grin. He looked right at you, and smiled.

"How's my favorite girl doing?"

He held up his hands in mock surrender as he took a step back, still smiling. You rolled your eyes. He looked around the bar as if to see if you were alone, or if someone might be lurking nearby. Suddenly, Tartaglia turned to you to say something. When you looked back at him, he held a hand out to your arm and gestured to a spot at one of the tables. You both sat down before he threw his arm around your shoulder, bringing you close.

"I'm sure you know why I'm here, but I have to tell you that you are the most beautiful woman I've ever known. I want you to know that I love you, that... that..."

A thought occurred to him:

"Do you think that we could have sex tonight ?"

"The hell gave you the idea that i'd fuck you?"

You responded to his thought in cringe.

"I was just thinking about it," he said.
"I think we should make a date for next week."

What got this man so desperate all of a sudden? You thought to yourself. You'll spare him a bit and let the guy take you on a date, he is rich after all.

"Fine. ONE date."

"Yayyy!"

He happily smiled as he hugged you tight.
Geez. He sure was one ginger golden retriever boy. You patted his head. At least you didn't have to be with the blueberry boy.

"Anyways, back to business. I got some updates about our prince charming boy who had to step by right? Well he should be stepping by after tomorrow. Since he isn't in Liyue yet. He should be sitting in the caffee and enjoing his coffee with his assistances. I want you to give him his coffee in this special coffee mug set-"

Tartaglia gestures a box towards you.

"And add this pill into his drink-"

Tartaglia yet again gestures a tiny bag towards you.

"I'm counting on you, I believe you can do that."
