Jeni and Harshika both my dear friends were sitting on the bench next to the canteen waiting for me since we had language classes and since their lecturer was on leave they were down there! As the bell rang indicating the class was over I ran down the steps searching for them.

I found them on a bench each others back pressed together and were reading novels that they borrowed from the library since the next hour was declared free so I joined them for a small talk before heading towards the library to collect references regarding the subject. All of us were really emerged in our own thoughts about our partners all of us were happy but there was something disturbing us we shared our stories and consoled each other that things would go right again and there will be only happiness there on.

My phone buzzed from my pocket that read Sai's name so I picked it and dialed his number running to a private space where no cameras or no one could catch me holding a phone in campus. I was excited to talk to him but was scared that I would get caught!! Whatever it may be I spoke through the device not even five minutes passed by and I was engrossed in the conversation that I didn't realize that my HOD was standing behind me. When I turned around the place I caught her gaze on me and i immediately tucked my phone into the pocket as if I was just standing there like a bimbo she knew I was hiding something then she came closer to me and started checking my pocket and she took out my phone anger written all over her face. I could not do anything no excuses escaped my mouth where I felt hopeless and had to surrender as we reached the staff room she asked me to call my parents I just called up mom asking her to come over to college since my HOD wanted to meet her.
