It was Monday morning and I was getting ready for college. "Good morning sleepy head" my mom said as she came up to me ruffling my hair and pecking my forehead "Good morning ma" I replied kissing her cheek I knew mom understood how low I was she tried talking to me about the issue but I waved the matter off hinting that i was still upset about it. She stopped and didn't go further about it.
"Ok baby I understand but if you want to talk about it please do share it so you will feel a little bit content about putting down a little weight from your shoulder." She closed the door behind her and her words brought a sad smile on my face. I knew mom would never judge me for my mistakes. I went down to the lounge area and pulled out an umbrella and went out of the house. It was raining heavily I called Jeni if she could give me company in riding to college she gladly accepted and told me to stand next to the bus station. I stood where she asked me to and looked either sides for her bus to pull up. After 15 minutes I saw her head peeking out of the bus and asking me to get in. I did as I was told.
The ride to college was really nerve wrecking. I told Jeni about everything that happened earlier and she just told.... "We have only a few months left until we finish college and would part ways." Jeni's words rang into my ears 'last few months at college'.... " Does that mean our teen life at college will be over in a matter of few months?" She looked at me baffled but i could see the sadness laced in her voice "yes Dany.... Our teen life at college will be ended in a few months" she repeated again for my mind to register the matter of fact conversation.
We reached college and all our friends were there next to the gate waiting for me and Jeni. Harshika came up to us and gave a bear hug and so did Anu,Ammu,Jaga and Roselin. We went in for our first class for the day and we were given circular forms regarding our exam schedule and the valedictory details that would be happening in a month and half i was literally staring at the form when i felt an elbow nudge me. I turned to my left and saw Jeni she was signalling me to see something. I turned to the direction and a wave of shock flashed upon me.
It was none other than the one who cheated me with other sluts last night I turned to Jeni giving her a stoned expression as to what the hell is he doing here. She put a comforting hand on my shoulder and told me to calm down. I didn't even turn to look at him after that. Jeni pulled out her phone and texted something so fast being conscious that her phone will get confiscated by the hod. After a few minutes she looked down the window and saw her boyfriend and our other friends showing thumbs up indicating the issue was solved. I did not understand what was going on. I just stared out and saw Sai was not there in site. I got the hint that he was gone.
I made up my mind to confront him
