Once a Player, Always a Player [ON HOLD]

Chapter 11

It's been three weeks since I got here. I really like it here because the weather is perfect! I recently learned how to surf which I love doing! Every morning before school I go and catch some waves. It's a way of releasing all the stress, and forgetting about everything else going on.

Mom and I really fit in here. During the past few weeks, we've been invited to many cookouts by my mom's friends. And also I've become much closer to Emma and the gang.

Everything has just been great.

Meanwhile, Derek ... Well he's still Derek. He's still the same conceded golden boy of the school. And Nick, don't get me started on him. Every time I walk past him in the school hallway, he gives me his best red carpet smile, and a friendly wave that makes my stomach do flips.

Speaking about boys, I met the friendliest person ever! His name is Daniel, an he's gay. He's in the same grade as me, and loves to surf! He's actually the one who taught me. He's 6'3', with an amazing tan and body, dirty blond hair and sparkly green eyes! If you would of asked me if he looked gay or not, I would probably be like, "no way." But he is, and he's just amazing. He's like the big brother I've never had.

His mom and my mom have become beat friends too, so now and then he would stay over my house. He even calls my mom "Mama Lew" short for "Mama Lewis" or just "Mama Bear" which I think is funny. In that case, I call Daniel's mom, "Mama Lee" because that's their last name. As I said, he's the brother I've never had.

"Niomie! Get your fat butt up and help me set up the table! The guest should be here soon!" Daniel shouted from down stairs.

In fact you didn't know, Daniel lives right next door to me in a beautiful two story house. So basically he comes over whenever he likes and vice versa.

Today we're having the special Thanksgiving dinner at his house, which the entire neighborhood was invited to. Yup, both Nick and Mason are gonna be there. Just my luck.

Daniel knows that I have a MAJOR crush on Nick. He's even tried to persuade me on talking to him, but I just don't have the guts for it. Also, another reason why he wants me to talk to Nick is because Daniel has a crush on Nick's best friend Carter, who is, to my surprise, gay as well.

"Jeeze Noé (Noh-e) what took you so long?" Daniel said with his hands on his hips

"I actually care how I look, thank you very much!" I replied

"Baby girl, we all know that no matter what you and I put, we still look Hauwt!!

He has a point. Daniel and I were both matching. He was wearing a light pink Abercrombie button up Tee, with his light caramel khaki's and sperrys, while I on the other hand, was wearing a light pink sun dress that went to my mid thigh and sperrys like Daniel.

He look gorgeous, if he weren't gay I would probably fall for him but, I only see him as my brother. Sucks for all the girl at our school. I too looked good. I managed to go natural on the make-up and went with a classy fish-tail braid, which completed my look.

"Aw kids you both look so adorable!" Mama Lee gushed

"Thanks Mama! When is our company coming?" Daniel asked

"They should-" Mama Lee was interrupted when the door bell rung

"They're here! Cindy! The guest are arriving!" Daniela's mom announced to all of us including my mom who was in the kitchen.

*2 hours Later*

" YOU SON OF A COW! IM GONNA KILL YOU AND FEED YOUR REMAINS TO PIGS!" I shouted while running like a mad women, to kill Derek?

Why am I screaming like a physco?

Because the school's most cockiest most arrogant most douchiest boy, threw me into the pool on "accident".

Yeah accident my Butt!

5 minutes ago Derek asked me if he can please have a chat with me outside. So I said "sure why not?" Then we started talking and laugh about stuff when he came closer to my face like if we was gonna kiss me and whispered into my ear...

"I say you look better wet." I thought we was making a perverted joke when suddenly, he pushed me I to the pool and said, "Oops sorry sweet cheeks, gotta go!"

And off he went running.

"WHEN I CATCH YOU DEREK MASON! IM GONNA MAKE SURE YOU'LL NEVER SEE THE LIGHT AGAIN!" I shouted while Derek only ran faster laughing like a maniac.

Suddenly Daniel came out the door saying, "Hey Noe! Picture ti-- Woah what the heck happened to you!? Don't tell me that you suddenly wanted to go surfing in a dress?"

"NO YOU DORK! DEREK PUSHED ME INTO THE FREAKING POOL!" I waved my hands in affection.

"Hey what's with all the commotion out here?" Both our moms came out.

"Niomie Lewis! What in the world happened to you?" My mom asked shockingly

"Derek pushed me into the pool!"

"What? Pshhh... I would never do that! Derek said from behind me

"I just came out from the bathroom!"

"Bathroom my Butt! You liar!"

I was about to go knee Derek when someone from behind me grab my waist, and suddenly it felt like it was the 4th of July in my stomach.

"Hey hey, come one let's go get you dried up. He's not worth it."

I turned around to find the owner of the voice...
