After an agonizing day of sightseeing and shopping, we returned to the hotel and are chilling at the pool. I'm lying on a tube and just floating around. My family are sitting on the side drinking. My limbs are hanging out as I groan tiredly. All of a sudden, water splashed my face. "Hey!" I glare at a beautiful girl about my age.

"What was that?" She asked and I blushed. "Hey." I feel myself smiling like an idiot. She smirked back. "Hey? That's all you've got." I shrugged my shoulders. "Jeremy, we are heading back!" My blush deepened. "Really?!" The girl laughed. "Me and some friends are hanging out at the Pelican club tonight, if you're interested." She left before I could speak.

I went to my room to rest and ponder whether or not I should meet this girl at the club. After clicking through TV channels feeling bored out of my mind, I decided to go for it. What the hell. It could be fun. I got dressed up and headed to the club that's next door to the hotel. I tip-toed as quietly and as sneaky as I could. With my luck, mom and grandma will follow me and embarrass me in front of everyone. Once I made it to the elevator, I breathed a sigh of relief.

Thank god. Now to the Pelican for some drinks and dancing. Little do I know what fate has in store for me. I exited the hotel and walked the short distance to the building with loud music and bright techno lights. When I got in I see people dancing and drinking everywhere. There's people wearing glow sticks for fun. I walked around trying to find the girl from earlier and finally found her happily chatting with her friends like she said. I took a deep breath and approached the table.
