Sorry for the late post, there was a power outage in my neighborhood so I couldn't write, we just got it back so now I'm back in business! This story won't have a new chapter tomorrow due to plans I have but expect an update on Sunday! <3

I look into Minho's eyes and worry floods through me, reluctantly I nod signaling for him to speak.

"My name is Minho; I am sorry about earlier Jisung I'm not currently in my right mind. Anyways I am perfectly fine with it."

And just like that all my stress, worry, and overthinking had proven to be pointless. The rest of them go with similar responses Changbin tells a few jokes and Seungmin warns me about someone who walks around naked! Hyunjin who I first thought to be unapproachable tells me something about an air-fryer and Minho shoots him a smirk. I feel at home already, is it too soon to be this comfortable?

After a few more conversations (mostly about what I should watch out for around the dorm) everyone begins leaving due to sleep calling their names, Chan sticks behind and suddenly I remember I'm still in his room.

I quickly stand up my legs almost giving out on me for how long I've been sitting.

"Ah, sorry I forgot this was your bed, I don't want you to feel burdened but where should I sleep?" To my dismay Chan giggles.

"Don't be shy I don't bite! We can bunk for a bit until we get the room situation sorted." I nod, though for some odd reason this doesn't seem like a good idea.

"Do you have an air mattress or something I can sleep on?" I ask, it'd be pretty painful to straight up sleep on the floor.

Chan shakes his head then point towards his bed.

"We can share, think of it as bonding! I've always been curious if I have any odd sleep habits." I laugh, bonding? How intense for bonding-

Chan takes off his shirt and turns of the lights, damnit. Something I have never told anybody, and no one will ever know is that I am TERRIFIED of the dark to a point where I literally cry, I don't want to burden Chan, so I hop in bed anyways squeezing my eyes shut and trying not to think about what lurks in the shadows.

Overtime Chan dozes off yet I'm still wide-awake shaking as I silently cry, suddenly I feel very sick, it happens often when I'm incredibly nervous but this time it's unbearable. I quietly exit Chans room only to realize all lights in the dorm are off, I make a run to the bathroom and flip on the switch not noticing Changbin wide awake on the couch. As I cover my face in cold water, I hear footsteps behind me slowly creeping up, I look in the bathroom mirror to see Changbin's face.

I nearly scream then I feel a hand cover my mouth.

"Dude please calm down, you're going to wake everyone! Why are you up anyways?" He asks his patience seemingly fading every second I'm silent. He removes his hand for me to reply.

"I'm truly sorry Changbin, I'm just not feeling too great." I sigh tiredly to emphasize it.

Changbin raises a brow,

"I see tear stains on your face, how badly sick are you?" I look back into the mirror to see my eyes are glossed and tear stains on my face and shirt, I look like I just came back from a club and had a little too much to drink then drunkenly broke up with my boyfriend and slowly realized my mistake as I got sober, in other words I'm a disaster.

"I just tear up when I feel a little sick don't worry, I'm leaving, so get back to bed Changbin." He sighs and goes back to the couch.

Damn, I felt like I was being interrogated. I find my way to Chans room and luckily Chan is still fast asleep, I crawl in bed and wait for morning to come then suddenly I begin crying again. How fucking shitty! This time Chan hears and instantly he turns to face the back of my head.

"Han? Han? Are you okay?" He questions, I turn to face him, and his expression turns soft.

"Oh dear, why are you crying? Did something happen?" I can't tell anyone about this fear but this time I see no way out of it.

"D-don't laugh, okay? I'm scared of the dark." I admit, my face turns a dark shade of red that you can't make out in the dark.

Chan frowns, "You should have told me Jisung."

"I know Chan, but I was scared of what you'd think of me." Tears flow down my cheeks and this time I don't wipe them. I feel a warm hand wipe away my tears instead.

"Jisung no matter what you'd do there's nothing that will change how I think of you, I know your new to the team and all, but I will treat you like I treat all the others with love and care, okay?"

"Okay..."

Chan smiles and then gets out of the bed; I sit up about to ask him what he's doing then I see a cute cinnamoroll night light in his hands, he plugs it in next to me and a pretty blue light floods the room like a flashlight.

"Thank you, Chan."

"No problem, Hannie."

I lay down and Chan gets back in bed next to me.

And just like that we both doze off into the night.
