A Reunion To Remember

Chapter 14: Unhappy Parents

"ANYA! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?!"
Loid looked worried examining his daughters face.
"Was it that Damian boy?!"
"No Dad it wasn't! It was Yuki. Damian is the one who helped me from getting assaulted any further and now DAMIAN is all beat up!"
"It's swelling Anya. I'll get you an Ice pack."
Yor rushed to the kitchen to get Anya some ice for her swollen cheek. Her cheek was really red and bruised.

After Anya told her parents about what Yuki did to her she could tell they were angry. Her mother,an assassin, looked like she would kill anyone who got in her way of killing Yuki. She was scary.
Anyas Dad, a spy, was so angry he was ready to kill Yuki and you could tell he felt sorry about what he said to Damian. Especially since he just saved Anya from being severely injured and got hurt in the process.

"Well Anya, how about you invite Damian over for diner tomorrow? I'd like to speak to him and it's a good opportunity for us to get to know him. After all he IS the one who helped you."
Loid looked serious and Anya knew that meant that he was coming over no matter what.
"Yes! Splendid idea Loid. How about you call him and ask him to eat with us tomorrow?" Yor was sensing a ship about to sail.
"Okay. I'll go outside and call him."

Anya stepped outside and pulled out her phone.

~ring~
"Hello? Anya why are you calling me so late?"
"Um my family just wanted to have you over tomorrow with us for diner."
"What time?"
"Come around 5:30pm."
"Got it. I'll see you tomorrow."
"Goodnight Damian. And..."
"Yes?"
"Thanks for tonight."
"Y-yeah. No problem. Night Anya."

"Well that was awkward."
Anya walked back into the house to tell her parents he said he'd come and then go to bed.
After telling everyone goodnight Anya lay in bed replaying every moment of what had happened that very night.
