You get home from school and immediately start working on your cheer routine for tryouts. At First you start to mess up and fall a lot but eventually you get the hang of it and remembered it enough that your ready for tryouts. You hear your mom pull up outside so you put your shoes on and run outside to tell your mom the good news! "Omg! Good for you sweetie I know how much you love cheerleading, also, you remember in elementary, before we moved away, do you remember Eddie Munson?" "Yea, we hated each other all we did was make each others life a living hell" I kinda wondered why mom brought him up. "He goes to your school I just wanted to let you know so you at least know one person there, I forgot how much you two hated each other." How could she forget she used to always get called to the school because we could not stop fighting. "It's okay, I'm going to go to bed I'm tired and tomorrows a big day for me." I ran up the stairs but halfway up I heard my mom yell goodnight but I didn't respond because all I wanted to do was lay down and sleep. I got up to my room and noticed my bed finally got delivered, so you lay on your new bed and you fell asleep almost instantly.

-Morning-

You wake up and head down stairs to eat a bowl of cereal before you get ready for school but as soon as you walked downstairs you heard a familiar voice say "y/n, I missed you!" You turn around and see the one and only Steve (The Hair) Harrington. "Omg! Hey Steve! I haven't seen you since elementary how are you! You look so different now!" You and Steve grew up together and have always been best friends even when you moved away you guys called everyday. "I'm awesome! Why didn't you tell me you were moving back?" You and Steve sat down at the counter then you answer his question "I wanted to surprise you but I'm guessing my mom called you and told you we were back" you get up to make you and Steve some cereal. "Yep, she also asked for me to bring you to school I don't know why because you have a car." You finish making the bowls of cereal and you gave Steve his bowl you guys continue having your conversation then you head upstairs to get ready for school when your done Steve drives you to school, you guys walk in with each other and Steve heads to his class but you head to your locker to grab your books but on your way you bump into someone "Hey watch where your going dip shit" you say angrily as you help yourself up, you look up and see the one and only Eddie Munson "Do i know you from somewhere?" He asks, you look at him shocked he doesn't remember you "It's me, y/n from elementary school I'm surprised you don't remember me." You are kind of annoyed he doesn't remember you, you look at him up and down, wow he got hot since elementary school. "Y/n y/l/n? Oh wait I remember you, you were my arch nemesis back in elementary school but then you moved away" you couldn't help but keep checking him out and eventually zoned out, he started to notice "hello, earth to y/n." You suddenly woke up from your trance "we're you checking me out?" You started to blush a little when he asked you that "um, no I was just noticing how you haven't changed since elementary, still playing that lame d&g game or whatever you called it?" He started to sound angry "you haven't changed at all either, still the same bratty y/n from elementary who didn't know when to keep her mouth shut, and its d&d by the way." You rolled your eyes "whatever Munson just stay away from me." You walked to your first class frustrated.

-After School (Tryouts)-

You enter the gym and see 3 other girls in front of you also trying out which made you even more nervous, soon it gets to your turn and your face is as red as a tomato from nervousness but you give it your all, then Chrissy starts talking "All right thank you all for trying out for the open slot on the cheerleading team we will be choosing only one of you to fill that slot, we are looking for someone confident and obviously very skilled to fill the slot, the person will be announced on the morning announcements so don't be late and miss it!" You walk out of the gym thinking you did a good job, while walking toward the exit you zone out and bump into someone, you get up and see who it is "hello again, still very distracted again I see. Awe, still thinking about me?" He said as he chuckled to himself "get over your self Munson, and get out of my way" you try and walk past him but he quickly blocked you "I don't think so, what are you doing here anyway school is over?" I tried to ignore the question and try to walk past him but he blocked me again "answer the question y/l/n." I rolled my eyes "I was at cheer tryouts, now why are you here?" He sighed "I got detention, apparently your not supposed to cuss out the teachers." He said with a smirk on his face. God he's hot, snap out of it y/n he's your enemy, you thought to yourself. "Whatever Munson." Eddie moves his hand from the door and walked away. Steve was outside waiting for you. "Hey y/n, you ready?" You nodded and then Steve drove you home.
