Max takes her friend in her arms. behind them, Will's house is very crowded and loud. the girls walk in. inside, there are too much lights and noise to see or hear anything, but they find Corinna and Kizzy quickly, sitting on a sofa.
- girls ! how are you ! asks Corinna, as happy as usual.
- good and you ? i'm so glad to see you again ! says Max, hugging her friends.
- i don't know anybody, laughs Kizzy, but it'll be grate.
- me too, don't worry, smiles Yasmin. by the way, did you see Will ?
- i've seen him but now he's... begin Corinna.
- he's here, says a voice behind Max and Yasmin.
Max shouts.
- gosh, Will, i hate you so much.
- me too, laughs her best friend. it's been so long ! come in my arms.
it's only after 10 minutes that Kizzy and Yasmin ask where is Sebastian.
- i want Max to meet him ! says Corinna.
- what ? no, guys, that's embarrassing...
but het friends don't listen her and call Sebastian, who come with a big smile on his lips.
- guys ! how are you ?
- good ! answers Kizzy. we wanted to introduce you to Max.
Sebastian looks at Max, keeping his smile.
- oh, so it's you. i heard a lot about you. nice to meet you.
- nice to meet you too.
and when she looks behind her, her friends are not here anymore. traitors, thinks the girl. Sebastian sits on the sofa, next to her.
- they really are embarrassing.
- yes, laughs Max. but i guess that's why we love them.
- since when do you know them ?
- hum, we've started texting since like 4 or 5 months.
- 4 or 5 months and i only meet you today ?!
they speak during on hour. Sebastian's really nice and funny, and they get along very well. they speak about their life, about music and this kind of stuff. after a while, Kit appears behind Sebastian and smiles at Max.
- hey beauty.
- Kit ! says Max. it's so good to see you again.
she stands up, they hug and the boy spins her in the air like he did when he went in nyc.
- i missed you.
- i know, you couldn't stop calling.
- shut up, smiles Kit.
- i missed you too.
- yeah, happy to see you too, says Sebastian behind Kit.
Max smiles and go outside to leave them alone and breath because it's really warm inside the house. but, sit in the grass, she sees someone who looks like someone she knows.
- Joe ?
- Max ! says Joe when he sees her. come here, i want to hug you !
she laughs and let the boy take her in his arms.
- you look so sweet !
- and you, you look... very ugly in this sweat, smiles Joe.
- i take it as a compliment.
- it's what it was.
they smile and speak until all their little group comes in the garden to sit with them. Joe and Kizzy take a lot of pictures with Max's phone, Corinna and Yasmin tell bad jokes and Will, Kit and Sebastian laugh. and Max is happy : it's xmas, and she's with her friends. her best friends. Will takes her on his shoulders and they begin a fight against Kit and Joe. everything's alright.
xmas party ! it was so enjoyable to write it so i hope you've like this chapter. the 2nd part of this story begins with the arrival of Sebastian, who will literally change everything.
