In the Manticore's Tavern, the Manticore herself goes to the work phone. She was tense. The Manticore picked it up and dial "0" on the phone number.

She hears the receiver's voice.

"Hello, operator. I need to reach 313 Pennybun Lane, please...It's in New Mushroomton..." The Manticore requested.

The receiver acknowledged her phone call request.

In the New Mushroomton, there was the mushroom house for the Lightfoot family.

Laurel finished up cleaning the dishes for today. After she rinses the soapy dishes, Laurel emptied them out of the sink.

The black smartphone rang.

She detected it with her surprised expression.

Laurel left the wet dishes in her dishwasher and shut the dishwasher door. She dried her hands with her kitchen towel.

The little green dragon runs after Laurel's black smartphone. It was on the kitchen countertop. The little green dragon was looking at the ringing thing happily. And then, it looks at her.

She was delighted. "Blazey! Get down!" Laurel exclaimed.

The little green dragon scurried off of the kitchen countertop. Blazey goes after one of her favorite pet toys. The little green dragon chomped on the knight in armor. Blazey shakes it crazily.

She giggled at her family's pet dragon. Laurel checked her black smartphone. She was mystified. Laurel took the call. She held her smartphone to her right ear. "Hey?" Laurel inquired. She raises her eyebrow.

"Laurel, it's me! Corey the Manticore! From my tavern!"

Laurel's eyes are widened with astonishment.

"COREY?! Are my boys okay?! What happened?!"

The Manticore sounds concerning.

"Barley and Ian are on their way to the Teleportation Gem. I got them a map. I warned them about the ghosts before the forest. Barley got a sword. And Merida got the archery set. I haven't got a chance to warn them further about the-"

"Wait...Who's Merida?!"

The Manticore sounded cheerful.

"Oh, she's just a human who got tricked by the witch!"

"Wha-wha-wait-Merida's a human?!"

The Manticore sounds concerned again.

"Laurel! I'm calling you to pick you up! I will explain to you about tonight! I know where your boys are going! They're gonna face the monstrous bear in the wilderness! They'll be in danger if we don't save them!"

Laurel was scared. She breathes hard about her sons' last adventure they took. Laurel has a choice. "Okay! Just be there as soon as possible! I'll be at the front door! I'll be ready in a few minutes to prepare!" She screamed.

The Manticore sounded understanding.

"Okay! I will meet you at your house! I'm coming!"

Laurel hung up her black smartphone. She dialed the number of her boyfriend. Laurel heard her smartphone ringing. "Come on, come on, come on..." she whispers.

For the call Laurel expects to answer, she got her phone call accepted.

"Laurel?"

"Colt, I need you to find my boys! Barley and Ian! Something has happened tonight!" She exclaimed.
