3rd POV

21:10 | August 22 - Abigal

HACKETT WOODS

Abi walks in the woods, talking to herself. "Stupid game...what are we in middle school? Why should I even care?" 

"Anybody can kiss anybody. Stupid. It's just stupid."

Abi pauses looking around. "Great. Where the hell am I?"

Abi continues walking on the path in the foggy woods. She takes a turn and keeps going on the path. 

"They took everything from me. I had no choice but to take their precious thing."

Abi looks around trying to find the person who said that. Abi continues walking, but stops and looks around scared, "Uh-oh."

"Abi..."

"Abi...? You out here?" Y/n shouted out. Abi looks in the direction of the voice. "Y/n!"

"Abi?" Y/n shouted again. "Shout again!"

"I'm over here!"

Y/n walks toward the voice and sees Abi, hugging her. Y/n lets go, "I'm sorry for what Emma...s-she was trying to make Jacob jealous."

"Yeah, pfft, just to make him jealous," Abi rolls her eyes. "Abi," Y/n holds her hands. Abi moves her hands away and sits on the log.

Y/n walks and stans behind Abi. "The game...was just too intense. I mean- you kissed Emma and lost your best friend, Jacob." 

Y/n fidgets with her hands and looks around. "Yeah...I was doing it to see his reaction not to lose him."

Y/n sits beside her, her back facing Abi's left side. "I'm pretty sure, Nick was trying to do the same..."

Abi looks at her, "It hurts losing a best friend that you knew since you guys were little."

"Yeah."

Abi's index finger touches Y/n's index finger. Y/n glances at her hand before moving her hand closer to her. "Ever since the first day of camp, I never knew anyone but when you decided to approach me and be friends with me along with Emma."

"You made everyone get together and have fun."

"Yeah."

"I'm gonna miss you, Emma, Jacob, Chris, and the others." Y/n looked at Abi who was looking at her as well. 

The two lean in as they kiss. Y/n wraps her arms around Abi while placing her hand on Y/n's cheek.

The two pull away as they hear a scream. Y/n rises up, "Was that Nick?!"

"I think so- let's go check on him."

Y/n and Abi run towards Nick's direction and see him lying on the floor, bleeding as a creature growling. "Nick!!!"

Y/n carefully approaches Nick as the creature growls louder and louder. Y/n picks up a near stick and throws it at the creature who backs a little, growling before dashing away. 

Abi picks up Nick along with the help of Y/n.

PATH CHOSEN

Y/n then sees the creature, she looks at the creature in the eyes making it stop. Y/n and Abi go back to camp with an injured Nick.

As they made their way to the firepit they see Ryan and Kaitlyn, "Help! Please...Nick! Help him!" Abi shouted.
