A threat in the group

3rd POV

Ryan sighs before placing his hands on the shock collar. Y/n uncovers her face, "W-What are you doing?"

"Taking this dumb thing off your neck," Ryan struggled to take the shock collar off.

"What! What are you crazy!?" Y/n smacks his hand away, standing up.

"If you take that off, I'll attack just like I did before!" Y/n shouted, "A-And...I-I don't wanna h-hurt you."

Ryan stands up, walks towards Y/n, and places his hands on both of her shoulders, "Listen to me Y/n...You're not a monster. I mean...I am shocked you are the infected bitten child and a wolf."

The two stay silent while looking into each other's eyes. Y/n places a hand on Ryan's cheek before pulling him into a kiss. Ryan stands there stunt before melting into the kiss, wrapping his arms around her, and pulling her close.

After kissing for a while, they pull away to breathe. Well...for Ryan to live. "H-How can you last that kiss without taking a breath?"

Y/n shrugs her shoulders, "I don't know."

"We should head back to the group. They might be looking for us," Y/n playfully punches Ryan before speed-walking back to the group.

"Hey! Wait up!" Ryan runs after Y/n.

~Timeskip~

Abi, Nick, and Dylan were still standing while they watched Kaitlyn pace around. They turn their attention to the trail to see Y/n and Ryan.

Kaitlyn stops pacing around, "There you are! Why did you rush off like that, and the shock collar is off!"

"Would you mind telling us why you have the shock collar on?" Kaitlyn places her hands on her hips.

"We'll tell you later at camp after we heal Nick," Ryan said.

"Wait...You know she told you why she had that shock collar! Wow, what a trusting friend," Kaitlyn said jokingly.

Suddenly they hear a shotgun making Y/n cover her ears. Ryan rushes to Y/n and checks if she is alright.

"Kaitlyn, where's your gun?" Dylan asked, "I lost it. One of the friendly locals wanted to say hi." Kaitlyn said.

"Hahaha, very funny," Y/n said.

Y/n squints her eyes before her eyes go wide open, "Hey! Wait, I know her!"

A mysterious girl runs and jumps into the pool. Y/n started running toward the pool, and so did the others, "You know her?" Kaitlyn asked while running.

"My friend," Y/n smiles.

They stand in front of the pool only to see blood in the water. They discover the girl's body floating onto the water.

Abi gasps, backing away, "Oh my god...!"

Nick pulled Abi close to him as she did the same.

22:00 | August 22 - Kaitlyn

HACKETT'S QUARRY CAMP CABINS

The body in the pool wasn't the body of the girl who ran.

"Is your friend like one of those hunter dudes?" Kaitlyn asked.

"I know her pretty well that she isn't one," Y/n crosses her arms over her chest.

The group went silent. 'til Kaitlyn spoke again, "Should we...do something?"

"I mean...we can clean the body and-" Kaitlyn gets cut off by Y/n's voice, "It's fucking Kaylee Hackett..."

"...Mr.H's daughter? I thought she went home with her brother," Kaitlyn said.

"That was also my fault...I couldn't stop the craving..." Y/n whispers, just for Ryan to hear.

Y/n takes a step forward when she sniffs the air and looks toward Nick. He walks towards her, "N-Nick...you ok?"

Nick embraces his arms around her, starts sniffing her hair, then rubs his face against hers, "You smell so good..."

"Woah...buddy, why are you acting like that?" Kaitlyn asked.

Nick turns his head at Kaitlyn, "Fuck off, Kaitlyn."

He continues to rub against Y/n, "Nick, get the fuck off!"

"I want to taste you, touch you, and....breed you," Nick growls by her ear and tightens his grip.

"Nick! Oh god...No wonder you smell like a horny wolf, and hell no! I ain't letting you breed me!" Y/n forcefully pushes Nick off of her, making Nick fall into the pool with Kaylee's dead body.

"Y/n! You didn't have to push him so hard," Abi said to Y/n, looking at her hands in realization.

"Shit! I forgot wolves can't handle the cold," Y/n leans down with her hands on her knees.

It stayed silent until Nick pops his up from the water. Shaking his body around, "AHH!!! AHHHHH!!! GINNGAHHHHHHHH!!!!"

"You bitch! Why the hell did you do that!? You and I are the same species!"

Y/n rolls her eyes before helping Nick get out of the pool. Nick lays on the floor soaked wet before looking at Y/n, growling, "F-Fuck....Y-You, bitch!" Nick shivers.

"W-What did you...?" Abi asked Y/n with a shaky voice.

"He's turning to one of them..." Y/n said, she touched Nick's arm, "I was right...He is turning."

"I don't know what you mean, but...l-let's get him in the pool house. Dry him off," Ryan said.

Abi, Kaitlyn, and Dylan hold Nick off the ground and take him to the pool house. Ryan places his hand on Y/n's hand, letting her turns around.

"What do you mean by he's turning into of them?" Ryan asked.

"When I smelled his scent, I could tell another wolf bit him, and his heat," Y/n said, "What do you mean by heat?" Ryan asked.

"You know what I mean...Remember when Nick said he wanted to breed me?" Y/n asked.

Ryan nodded but paused, "He wanted to fuck you!?"

"Yes. We have to get the group away from or put the shock collar on Nick. Before he hurts someone," Y/n places her hand on his shoulder, "You're the only one who knows my secret apart from my family.

Ryan nods before they start walking to the pool house.
