I rolled out of bed yawning, placing my feet on the cold wood floors. "alarm clocks these days,"
I mumbled to myself. I curled my long blonde hair and put mascara on.
My outfit was stunning today. I was wearing a baby pink tank top, ripped jean shorts and this cute expensive necklace with matching bracelets.
I was ready for the day. "Breakfast is ready!" my mom said, from all the way from down stairs. I groaned and grabbed my air forces on the way down.
I looked down at my plate and started eating the sunny side up egg. "You excited for the first day of school?" Mom asked. I could tell she was trying to break the silence. "It's going to be the same as last year, and the year before that," I paused. "Everyone is going to run up, hug me and say how much they missed me." I sighed and rolled my eyes.
Ruby and Delilah must have missed me the most. I didn't even think about them this summer, no offense to them. I laughed silently at my own joke.
"what is it?" She asked with a concern look on her face. "nothing," I said. I heard the bus and sprinted out the door, grabbing my backpack on the way out. This is going to be a long day.
*sorry if the chapters are a little short for a bit. This is my first book and i promise they will get longer as it goes*
