Your P.O.V.
It's been a week since Garcia's death and things are looking up. It turned out my theory about the handful of Los Diablos thugs was right. Because a Viper caught wind the last of them were having a meeting. Of course, that meeting was actually just last night too. So I sent a group of Vipers to take them all out. Just to make sure they couldn't try to escape town or launch some sort of surprise attack.
When they were dealt with, it turned out they were going to flee the city. And they had over a million dollars in cash to help them escape. So the group that I sent brought it back so I could figure out what to do with it. I used up to at least fifty grand to help improve The Blue Tropics. I bought some better stage equipment, some better alcohol, and some new and better tables.
As for the rest, I would save up for paying off the cops. I knew having the cops in Harlem on my side would help. After all, it would make sure they didn't bother messing with my operations. Though part of me was wondering if I should invest a bit of the cash into some other businesses. If I did, then it could help me bring in some extra cash too. And as the saying goes: money makes the go 'round.
But there was a couple of things on my mind right now. One was why Jessica kept on popping into my head. I mean, I only meet her just over a week ago and I'm still getting these thoughts about her. Another was whether or not one of the other gangs would try to attack me. It's just with Harlem under my control, they might try to undermind me and my crew. Which is why I have The Vipers keep an eye out for anyone who tries to muscle in on Harlem.
Right now, I was in the apartment above The Blue Tropics. Liam and Jason were collecting our daily income from Bellaire and St. Mary's. Meanwhile, I was taking the chance to have some peace and quiet. And with everything that happened, let's just say it was some much deserved relaxation. After a few minutes, Liam and Jason came back with the money. But Jason also brought in some guy in yellow clothes.
Y/n: Who's this guy?
Jason: This guy right here works with The Kobra Kings. Says that he's got a message from his boss meant for you.
Y/n: Is this true?
KK thug: It is, my boss had heard about what happened between you and Pablo Garcia. And Mr. King would like to call a meeting between our gangs about working together.
This took me by surprise, considering that this "Mr. King" was willing to send a messanger. Part of me wasn't to sure if I should go to this meeting. But I was curious to see what this guy wanted to meet with me about. I had no beef with The Kobra Kings, so I could see what their leader wanted. But I couldn't be to sure on whether or not it was a trap. Though I wouldn't know until I met with this guys boss.
Y/n: Where does he want to meet?
KK thug: At The Yellow Flag bar.
Y/n: Tell Mr. King we'll be there soon.
With that, the thug left as Liam and Jason looked at me confused. And I couldn't blame them since I practically agreed for little reason. But I did want to see what this King guy wanted to talk about. And both Liam and Jason did express concern about how it being a trap. Though I did agree, we couldn't be certain about it. So with that, we put on some fancy suits we bought and got ready for the meeting.
After about an hour, we got to The Yellow Flag bar in the Upper West Side. It seemed like a fancy looking pub that had darts, a few arcade games, and a bunch of scotch. Then I noticed a couple guards by a door that had a sign which said 'VIP only.' So if I had to take a guess, that's where this King guy was waiting us. Then I saw the thug that brought us this Mr. King's message.
