Your P.O.V.
It's been about a week since we were attacked by Los Diablos. We had to go to the hospital and luckily found out that nothing was broken. Of course, we had come up with a story that we got into a fight at a bar with a huge drunk guy. Luckily, the doctor we saw believed the story and left it at that. And we were at our apartment trying to get any info on this Garcia guy.
Right now, we didn't really have much to go on. Liam, Jason, and I did start to look for anything about Garcia or what operations he ran. We knew he was into drugs, but we had no idea as to how much he had or even where it was. Otherwise, we had no idea what other rackets he was running. And we still had to find a place to run a gang, let alone some recruits.
But Jason said that he might have a possible lead. Something about a club that some Diablos thugs hang out at from time to time. So he had left not to long ago to make sure that it was legit. And both Liam and I stayed behind to try to get recruits. We did find a handful of people who wanted to help. But others weren't really keen on helping or didn't care.
Liam: Not much to go on.
Y/n: I know, we probably got about twenty people to agree to help us out.
Liam: Yeah, you'd think there'd be more people who want to fight back.
I honestly couldn't blame the ones who refused though. It was likely that they were just too scared to fight back against Los Diablos. But we had to show the people of Harlem that Garcia and his crew weren't unstoppable. And we had to prove that there's a chance we can fight back. Though at the moment, it would be difficult to prove.
Our apartment was trashed, though we cleaned up, we had no income, and we had nowhere to start our gang. Plus we didn't even have any sort of name for our gang either. The three of us tried spit-balling some ideas, but there wasn't one we could agree on. Of course, we were all still frustrated due to what had happened. But we had to start getting our shit together, and soon.
That's when Jason came back with some papers in hand. And he looked very excited for some reason too. So I guess he must have found something to help us out. Then he gave the papers to me and Liam to look over. And it had turned out to be deeds for a building. Though to say Liam and I were real confused would be right on the money.
Y/n: What is all this?
Jason: Our new place of business.
Liam: A nightclub? Why the hell do we need a nightclub of all places?
Jason: Well, who would expect a gang to start out in a nightclub?
The question went through my head a couple of times. And Jason had a point in some way or another. A nightclub would be a good place to start bringing in some money. After all, we would need some cash if we were going to take on Garcia. And it would be a nice place to start out a gang too. But I had a feeling Jason wasn't telling us all the details as to how he got these deeds.
Y/n: How'd you get these anyways?
Jason: Let's just say that a guy I know owed me a favor.
Liam: This "favor" have anything to do with someone not being able to pay the weed they got.
Jason: .....Maybe.
Liam: God damn it.
Y/n: Easy Liam, if we got a place to use, then I say we take it. Not like we really have that many options right now.
Liam: *sighs* You're right, let's go see what this nightclub looks like.
So with that, we hopped into a cab and drove to the nightclub. Upon arrival, it turned out the nightclub was on the northern side of Harlem. And the place turned out to be better than I was expecting it to be. It was a three story building with blue paint on the exterior of it. Though it looked like a couple of windows were broken, but nothing we couldn't fix up.
