7 - Meeting Royalty

The next morning, at the I.M.P. headquarters, things started normal, besides Tom and Tord blushing at each other after what happened earlier that morning. However, the peace was broken by Blitzo yelling through a megaphone: "Edd, Matt, get your asses in here, we're going to Loo Loo Land!"
Edd poked his head through the door and asked, "Loo Loo Land? Isn't that a theme park in the Greed ring?"
"Correct!" Blitzo replied.
Suddenly, Matt crashed through the window on Blitzo's door and said, "I thought sinner demons weren't allowed to travel between rings?"
"Eh, Stolas is royalty, he's be able to bend the system." Blitzo shrugged.

Outside Stolas' palace, the I.M.P. van was parked on the fancy driveway. Blitzo was sat in the van, and Edd and Matt were marvelling at the palace.
"Woah, imagine what it would be like if we lived there!" Matt exclaimed in awe.
"Someday, Matt. Someday." Edd mused.
Upon seeing Stolas and his daughter Octavia, they stopped gazing in wonder and bowed before the royals.
"Salutations, my good sir and madam." Matt greeted. "Matthew Haregreaves, at your service."
"Oh, there's no need to do that today." Stolas chuckled. "Today, I am one of you, a simple conveyer of enjoyment!"

During the ride there, Matt and Stolas struck up some friendly conversation. It was mainly Stolas reccomending TV shows for Matt to watch. Edd was sat next to Octavia, who didn't look best pleased to be here. The silence between them was pretty awkward, so Edd decided to break the ice.
"So, do you know why we're going to this theme park?" Edd asked.
"Look, I don't want to go." Octavia scowled. "It's my dad trying to 'reconnect with me', but I'd rather be anywhere but here."

"I'm not the biggest fan of theme parks either." Edd stated. "I used to like them, but then I went to one during a zombie apocalypse."
"Get lost." Octavia smiled slightly.
"It's true." Edd went on. "And we didn't even notice until we had been there for most of the day."
"Really?" Octavia chuckled.
"And that wasn't even our first run-in with zombies." Edd added. "Matt here has been turned into a zombie before. 3 times, might I add."
"Excuse me, but does the world need to hear about that?!" Matt interjected.
Edd and Octavia couldn't help but laugh.
"Wow, you've had your fair share of crazy things, huh?" Octavia snickered.
"I guess I have." Edd shrugged.
Octavia smiled at Edd one last time before putting her earbuds back in.

As the van parked up, the others clambered out. Stolas was gleefully skipping into the park Blitzo was trotting alongside him, Octavia was trying to cover as much of her face as possible, and Edd and Matt were trailing behind her.
"She's quite nice once you get to know her." Edd remarked.
"She did look much more happy when she was talking to you." Matt added. "It's like you made her feel more like herself."
