"Stop pushing me away, god dammit!"
Your POV:
Love. Something everyone has wanted at some point in their lives. Whether it's from those around you or from your own parents. But there were the select bunch that felt that no one out there loved them. That's how I felt. All my life, I had been neglected and abused by my parents, yet I had told no one. I had neverplaned on telling anyone about it, but then my all to caring boyfriend, Richie Tozier, got suspicious. He wouldn't have become suspicious if I would've covered my bruises and cuts. I get up from my bed, wincing at the pain from all the fresh wounds from the night before. I walk to my closet and grab a pair of light gray sweatpants and a white t-shirt. I change out of my pajamas and into the sweatpants and t-shirt. I brush my hair and slide on my black converse high tops. I slide on my black cropped oversized zip-up jacket. I grab my black book bag and walk downstairs. I walk towards the front door, praying that my parents wouldn't notice me. "Y/n, where are you going?" I hear my mom ask. "Out," I say, turning and looking at her. "How dare you use that tone with me you ungrateful little shit!" She shouts at me, walking towards me, holding a wooden spoon that she had been using to stir whatever she was cooking. "You are so rude to me and your father and I will not tolerate it!" She yells, slapping me across the face with the spoon. I nod and turn towards the door, walking outside with a red mark on my face and tears welling up in my eyes. I was meeting with my friends at the park today for a group picnic. I run to the park, crying feeling the bruise already forming on my face. The park comes into view and I stop running, wiping my face and taking a deep breath. I walk towards the park, glancing around, looking for my friends. I spot a girl with short, bright orange hair. I walk towards her and smile slightly. "Hey Bev," I say, walking up next to her. "Oh, Hey Y/n," she says, smiling. I look around and notice Bill, Eddie, Stan, and Richie trying to set up the picnic blanket without it blowing away. I walk over to them and set my book bag on one of the corners. I grab three rocks and set them on the other corners. I grin and look at them. "You four aren't the brightest boys," I say, giggling. Richie grins and hugs me from behind. "Hey doll," He mutters, burying his face in the crook of my neck. "Get a room, losers!" Mike shouts as he and Ben walk up to the group. I giggle and sit down on the blanket, Richie sitting down next to me. The others sit down as well. We all just sit there, laughing and having a good time. I feel Richie tug on my arm, and I stand up and he pulls me towards the bathrooms. We walk into the family restroom and he shuts and locks the door. "Something wrong Rich?" I ask, looking at him. "What's all these bruises?" he asks, unzipping my jacket. I glance down at the floor, not saying anything. "Y/n, talk to me please!" he says, placing a hand under my chin, tilting my head forcing me to look at him. "I- uh, I," I mutter, tears brimming my eyes. "Stop pushing me away, god dammit!" Richie shouts, his hand leaving my chin as he sits down against the wall putting his head in his hands. I hear soft sobs coming from his gently shaking figure and that's all it takes to break me. I sit down next to him, starting to sob. "Richie, I'm n-not trying to push you away, but I'm sc-scared that if I t-tell you, you'll leave m-me," I say, sobbing. Richie looks at me with a tear-stained face, "Doll, I'd n-never leave you, I l-love you too much," he says, pulling me into a tight hug. I bury my head in his chest, sobbing. "Shh. It's gonna be ok, princess, everything gonna be ok," Richie mutters, kissing the top of my head. I stop crying and look at him. "It's my parents, they're always either abusing me or neglecting me," I murmur, wiping my face with my sleeve. "Doll, you should've told me sooner," he says, cupping my face gently. "You can stay with me, princess. I'm not letting you go back to that house," he says, pecking my lips gently. I nod and he stands up, helping me up. "I love you, Rich," I say, smiling. "I love you too, doll," he says, grinning.
