Arguing out of love: a Richie x fem!! Reader oneshot

(This oneshot takes place during summer before junior year of high school, your 16 and Richie is 17)
Your POV:
I was sitting in the hammock in the clubhouse. I was reading Matilda by Roland Dhal. Even though this book is for kids, I still read it all the time. I hear the clubhouse door open and someone comes in. I glance up and see Richie. "Sup Rich," I say, going back to my book. "Hey idiot," he says, walking over and sitting down on the chair near the hammock. I put m'y book mark in my book and close it. "What's up?" I ask, sitting up. "Nothing much," he says, pushing his glasses up on his face. "Are you reading that stupid kids book again?" Richie asks, rolling his eyes. "Matilda isn't stupid!" I shout, rolling my eyes at him. "Yea it is, it's about a girl who has magic powers who discovers them because she's being abused," Richie says, crossing his arms. "Your just mad because she's 7 and she knows more than you ever will!" I shoot back at him, getting up from the hammock. I start pacing around the clubhouse in annoyance. "And? I'm also mad that your arguing with me even though you know I'm right!" He shouts, getting up and standing in front of me. "FUCK YOU!" I yell, pushing him. Richie stumbles backwards a little, and I sigh out of anger and annoyance. I sit down in a chair and put my head in my hands. "Anger issues much," Richie mutters and I get up and walk over to him. "Your such a bitch!" I shout, slapping him in the face. We both stand there in shock. A few seconds pass and Richie starts laughing and I also start laughing. "I'm sorry Rich," I say, smiling. " it's fine, doll," Richie says, putting an arm around my waist. I smile and hug him. Richie presses a soft kiss to the top of my head and I smile. "Why do we argue over stupid things all the time?" I ask, giggling. "I dunno, but I do know we argue out of love," Richie replies, smiling down at me. "I love you Rich," I say, grinning. "I love you too, doll," Richie says, grinning back at me.
