It was an ordinary day in the Kiraminn Family, Tobias Kiraminn was busy making breakfast. At the same time, Cassandra Kiraminn was busy preparing for a long day of council work, and Caitlyn Kiraminn had just woken up and was heading into the kitchen.
Caitlyn: Morning mother
Cassandra: Morning sweetheart, how was your patrol last night?
Caitlyn: A nightmare, once again Jinx got away and Vi was furious
Cassandra: Poor girl, one can only begin to imagine how that girl feels
Caitlyn: I know
Suddenly there was a knock at the door, the Kiraminns looked confused sharing glances with each other.
Caitlyn: Dad were you expecting anyone?
Tobias: No...
Cassandra: I'll get it
Cassandra made her way to the door, when she opened the door she was shocked, there stood a boy with H/C hair and E/c eyes with S/c skin. He had an awkward stance as if he was extremely nervous.
Cassandra: Y/n!?
Y/n: Hi Aunt Cassandra, um nice to see you
Cassandra: What are you doing here?
Y/n: Well um, I recently moved back into town and decided to pay you a visit
Cassandra: Well no point in staying outside, come on in
Y/n: Thanks
Y/n stepped into the house, it was just as he remembered it rich and fancy unlike his family's home which was more middle-class territory, he saw Tobias in the kitchen cooking breakfast and his cousin Caitlyn waiting patiently.
Tobias: Who was at the door honey?
Cassandra: You'll never believe it
Tobias and Caitlyn looked towards Cassandra and then noticed Y/n next to her the two shared a look of surprise, Caitlyn's face immediately turned to one of anger while Tobias shared Cassandra's look of conflict.
Y/n: Uncle Tobias, Cousin Caitlyn, how have you two been?
Caitlyn: Good.
Tobias: Just fine Y/n...
Caitlyn: What are you doing here?
Y/n had a nervous look on his face before it changed to a calm smile.
Y/n: I've decided to move back to Piltover and thought I'd pay a visit
Caitlyn: Uh-huh
Tobias: Caitlyn!
Caitlyn: What?
Tobias: Manners
Caitlyn: Right...
Y/n took a seat at the table and pulled out some airplane food he had in his backpack and began chowing down on it.
Cassandra: So Y/n do you have a place to stay...?
Y/n: No but I'll get one, I have enough money to buy a small apartment
Cassandra: Would you perhaps like to stay here for a bit?
Caitlyn: Absolutely not!
Tobias: Caitlyn!
Y/n: No, No, Caitlyn is right I don't want to leech off of you, I have not earned that right and it would be unfair to you all if I were to take up residence here
the Kiraminns looked at Y/n in complete shock.
Cassandra: Uh, well If that is your choice I won't fight you on it, I was just offering
Cassandra checked her watch and realized she would be late for work and quickly rushed to get her stuff.
Cassandra: I'm going to be late! Love you, sweethearts, see you later
Tobias: Bye Honey
Caitlyn: Bye Mom
Y/n: Bye Aunt Cassandra
Cassandra left and after a short time Tobias had exited the room, Caitlyn stared angrily at Y/n who just looked at her with a smile on his face.
Caitlyn: What are you doing?
Y/n: I don't know what you mean
Caitlyn: What's your angle Y/n? What scheme are you pulling this time
Y/n: There's no scheme Caitlyn, as I said I am merely moving back to town
Caitlyn: Bullshit! I know you Y/n, it's never that simple with you
Y/n: Do you know me though? We haven't seen each other in five years, Caitlyn, people change
Caitlyn: some people change
Y/n: Sigh I am not going to fight you, actually I have a question to ask you
Caitlyn: And that would be?
Y/n: How's Evelynn?
Caitlyn: Not dealing with your sorry ass that's for sure
Y/n: Rude, wanna answer the question properly?
Caitlyn: Sigh she's fine, she finally got started on that popstar group she was talking about a few years back, they've been quite the hit recently
Y/n: Really? What is their group called?
Caitlyn: KD/A or something like that
Y/n: Interesting, I'll look them up when I get settled
Caitlyn: Why do you care? I thought you and Evelynn weren't a thing anymore
Y/n: We aren't but that doesn't mean we can't be friends
Caitlyn: Because you're so good at making friends
Y/n: I am actually, that's the reason I had Ekko and Yasou before I moved away
Caitlyn: Huh, I thought you were just paying them to hang out with you
Y/n: Jeez I'm now that low
Caitlyn: Coulda convinced me
Y/n: Alright, well this has been delightful seeing you Caitlyn but I have to go Apartment shopping
Caitlyn: Bye.
Y/n: I'll give you my address in case you wanna hang out at all
Caitlyn: Uh-huh
Caitlyn ignored the boy as he made his way out of the house and into the streets of Piltover.

Y/n was with a landlord exploring a small apartment, it had one bedroom and one bathroom along with a small kitchen.
Landlord: It's not much but it's cozy and in your price range
Y/n: It's perfect
Landlord: Are you sure? If I am being honest you'll only get about six months at best out of this
Y/n: That's what I'm looking for
Landlord: Wouldn't you want a more permanent place?
Y/n: Nope
Landlord: Well ok then, I'll get the paperwork, rent is six hundred a month just so you know
Y/n: I can do that
Landlord: Feel free to explore I'll be back with the paperwork
As the landlord left Y/n's smile dropped as he held his head in pain he had been feeling nauseous the whole time but had forced himself to not show it. the world seemed to be collapsing around him before it stopped.
Y/n: Six months... that's all I've got.
