Month 1 (Chapter 2)

Caitlyn has been in her office all day not saying a word to anyone, while she didn't show it she was extremely agitated, Vi walked in with a stack of paper work the Kiraminn had requested.

Vi: Burying yourself in work today are we? That means somethings wrong

Caitlyn: Nothings wrong

Vi: Bullshit, I know you cupcake, don't lie to me you know I hate lies

Caitlyn: Sigh my cousin is back in town

Vi: Oh no you don't mean Slippin Y/n right? Please tell me it's not Slippin Y/n and that you have some other cousin I don't know about

Caitlyn: Nope it's Y/n

Vi: Dammit! What is he doing back here? Didn't he cause enough trouble for all of us already?

Caitlyn: I don't know why he's back, but something about it isn't right

Vi: What do you mean?

Caitlyn: He was being nice, too nice. He refused my moms offer to stay at our house and he was genuinely calm throughout his visits, he didn't try anything

Vi: isn't that a good thing?

Caitlyn: Normally yes but in Y/n's case no, he's planning something, a long con and I am going to prove it, I won't let him destroy my family like he destroyed his

Vi: I'm with you cupcake, so where do we begin?

Caitlyn: We need to investigate him, he gave me his address so I know where he lives, perhaps we can follow him around Piltover

And so it was Caitlyn and Vi set out to follow Y/n around Piltover, they tracked Y/n to a bar where they hid in the back with their hoods up, Y/n could be seen talking to a blonde white male with blue eyes.

Y/n: Ezreal

Ezreal: Y/n! Holy shit is that you?!

Y/n: Yeah it is, been a while my man, how are you?

Ezreal: Well as you can see, I'm officially married

Y/n: Congratulations! I assume the lucky girl is Lux?

Ezreal: You know it, I have to thank Jinx for hooking us up

Y/n: Speaking of the blue haired devil, where is she?

Ezreal: Well... she's kinda on the run

Y/n: What do you mean?

Ezreal: She got this really shady job working for this supposed inventor named Silco and now she's a fugitive of the law along with him

Y/n: I see, that's quite the shame

Ezreal: Good news is Ekko and Yasou are still kicking around, they might be in town for all I know, nobody visits me anymore

Y/n: Well that's why I'm here to visit an old friend

Ezreal: So how's life in Demacia? That lawyer job work out for you at all?

Y/n: Yup, worked great actually, I'll tell you it's quite the treat to stand in front of King Jarvan IV and plead your clients case's

Ezreal: Did it pay well?

Y/n: Paid very well, I got a mini fortune

Ezreal: That's great! You must be living in a mansion like your cousin

Caitlyn scoffed while Y/n just looked down nervously before sipping some of his beer and looking at his friend while his friend looked at some random guy sitting across from them.

Ezreal: That guys not a regular, what do you say? Like old times

Y/n: I don't know Ezreal... perhaps another time

Ezreal: I'll hold you to that, I wanna pull off the old left facing Heimerdinger coin trick again

Y/n: Yeah...

Caitlyn and Vi were a bit surprised, they had never known Y/n to steer clear of trouble in fact he usually loved to jump into it.

Caitlyn: What is going on?

Vi: I have no idea, that was a perfect opportunity and he just said no?

Caitlyn: this is very suspicious

Y/n left the bar and made his way too his apartment finding things to be a dead end Caitlyn and Vi decided to call it a day so they could focus on other important matters.

Meanwhile...

Evelynn had just finished a photo shoot when she received a text from Ezreal, she simply wanted to ignore it she only had his number as an emergency contact but why was he texting her it peeked the divas interest, she looked at the text and was shocked by what she saw.

Ezreal: look who is back in town :) *picture of Y/n*

The diva didn't know what to think, many emotions were running through her, mainly confusion, why? Why was he back? This simply could not be ignored, if he found Ezreal he was most likely planning on finding her, but for what purpose? Maybe to apologize? No... that's wishful thinking.

Ahri: Eve... are you alright? Your face is all pale

Akali: and you haven't said a word since you walked in

Evelynn realized she was now in her home she had been so lost in thought the time in which she went from the studio to home had seemingly not existed.

Kai'Sa: Eve?

Evelynn: Y/n's back in town...
