The Battle of Legends (Remake)

Chapter 11. A Never Ending Nightmare..

As time go on and scenery changes, many people had seen and heard rumors..
of Xenon's returning, having people become in fear and other emotions of fear, they tried to calm down and regain their thoughts, some succeed and help others...

But Zabaki, Ace and the twins were in shock, reliving the nightmare they had been given from Xenon, they had been exploring from night and day, being more in fear for witnessing his total destruction of all of them, yet they think he can go beyond such power, still feeling scared and worthless, they managed to get away from the place where they were in, many nights of not resting made them fear of seeing what he was able to do, for their memories cannot let them rest  for many nights...

Many had trouble sleeping and still want to go pass it, for they haven't seen nor heard of his destruction, only by name they do not want to hear again, Zabaki had help his friends by training, but yet they still feel more behind then improving, yet they keep going and gotten ready for the next time they face him again, Ace was feeling more calm a bit but still afraid of what happened, as they were thinking of what he can do, they immediately feel pain from where they think he'll attack, as they felt that way, they heard guards looking for them, Ace heard one of them said 'capture them' they immediately got some strength to run and they began to do so, as they did, they were trying not to be seen or heard of...

However someone saw and began charging and following them, shouting for their men, as they followed, they managed to lead them to a corner.. everyone gotten their weapons ready, Zabaki and Zamaki stood in front of Zamaku and Ace. "You guys are coming with us!" One of the guards said, holding his sword on his left and a shield on his right, every guard gotten their swords, spears and shield ready, however Zabaki and Zamaki gotten ready..

"Weapons down, we don't want our only chance of speaking with their leader... especially trying to defeat the one and only being who has the power to wipe us all out..." The leader said and he kneeled and bowed down, so did everyone. "Leader...?" Ace said and wondered who was the leader, Zabaki stood up and walked forward.

"I wouldn't say leader... let's say I am a guy who makes friends...!" Zabaki said as he smiled, showing his on good terms with them.

"I see... I am grateful you are what we all seek, for many years we humans, werewolves, elves, other races had been seeing that awful beast... especially one of the demons we hunt..."

"Go on, I am getting a feeling you know what he or she is intended to gather..."

"It is more like who they want..." The guard said, Zabaki and Zamaki knew right away and they left to the direction of the temple, Ace and Zamaki followed and had a very bad feeling, but as they got there... a large explosion had happened, when they saw, they only saw the woman and a man in a cloak, they asked Ace to listen into their conversation to hear them more...

"I fear you plan is failing..." The woman said as she gotten up in pain. "I hope you and your other friend are strong enough... but if the day ever come.. I will be the one to strike him down, I don't want anyone to take away my job, for his crimes were chaotic...." She said then gasped in pain, falling down and held her stomach from the pain she had been give, Ace was translating every word they said... "I know what I am doing... for I know who should be the one to take him down..." The man in a cloaked hood said.

"One day... you'll just give up and take the credits... Evan..." She said and growled a bit, still in pain. "I know that, but my partner is in that realm, and I want the prophecy to become more real, and I rather not have them hearing our conversation as of right now..." Evan said and he opened a portal for the woman.. "I will only be telling you this, if the day I fight, is the day we three shall fight all out, to destroy that man once and for all..." He said and left..

"That won't be long... but I'll be lucky I'll be healed once we get the battle start it..." She said and entered her realm, the portal started to fade and Zabaki came out and wondered who was Evan and that woman, as the rest came out, everyone also wondered what prophecy, yet they left to not feel the dark presence of the temple...

Evan looked back at them, still being quiet and looked at them, he kept his presence very low to be like a small incent, still being happy for one of the members he sees, then he vanish in thin air once again...
