The Battle of Legends (Remake)

Chapter 13. Before the Destruction..

Zabaki and his friends were heading towards a town where the guards used to live by,
Ace was following the scent of the leader, and when they got there, a lot of towns folk began cheering out their names and had hope again..

Zabaki gotten to the castle and when they got inside, the guards were uneasy for a moment until the captain came up and greeted them once again. "Hello Zabaki, I see you brought your friends along too, I am forever grateful to finally meet the heroes who stand up against the beast..." The captain said and stood up high, smiling a bit. "I want you to meet the king, he is in a good mood to finally meet you!"

"I see, I hope this isn't a bad meeting then, let's go guys!" Zabaki said and followed the captain, as everyone else followed, Ace felt uneasy for being inside the castle, yet he felt a lot of joy from the captain and listened to him, Zamaki and Zamaku gotten their senses up high and ready, and as for Zabaki, he stayed positive to show respect and loyalty towards his friends.. many hours had been passing from the meeting, they had been talking about a prophecy of a man who brings the whole races together, making them a stronger alliance with each other, they hoped they found him and they were luckily to find him. "You have no idea how long we searched... we had been searching for more than a decade.. but finally we have you here..!" The king said as he gotten up and walked forward, as he stopped, he had kneeled down to them and bowed his head for having them in his castle.

"I long waited for this day, finally get to meet the savior of my family and friends..." The king said, getting up and taken off his crown, revealing he is an elf. "I might be an elf... but I was still accepted for being part human, so I am forever grateful you made some friends of your own..." The king said, putting back his crown then walked back to his seat. "I see, so why are you even locked up in this place anyways? Seems like they are locking you up for a stupid reason..."

"Honestly, some of the humans still sees me as a threat... I only ask the loyal guards to help me, which they all did... which I am more grateful to see you have a werewolf with you..." The king said and smiled. "Well I may look human, but I am not really human myself.." Zabaki said and he looked at the king.

"We know, the prophecy said you are no ordinary human, you are your own clan like that man..." The king said, Zamaki got curious about Xenon. "Are you saying that thing has a clan?" Zamaki said and growled a bit..

"Sadly, yes he does have a clan, which my family line had been passing down books of them... for each generations until they lost it about three hundred years ago..." The king said and leaned forward and held out his hand showing a magic vision.. showing Xenon's clan and what they can do. "These are what we call, God Eaters..."

"Are you serious...? He literally eats gods!?" Zabaki said in an angered tone. "Yes, which is why there was a prophecy, where we races will come together and try and destroy this man, but they only say to give support to the one who has to battle with him, that's why we don't know who made it, other than that, we are still researching about it..." The king said and looked at them. "Whatever you do, do not let him eat any gods that are nearby him... he gets stronger each time that happens..."

"Understood... we will try and handle this matter, whatever it takes..." Zabaki said and smiled, as they left, they went towards another town, but they stopped for Ace... but as soon they see him, they can see him in fear...

They ran towards him and try comforting him, Zamaku sensed someone dangerous, Zabaki and Zamaki saw them in fear and tried to comfort them, however they start to feel the pure negative energy from a far away distance... "H-He is here..." Ace said and looked back at the kingdom, they gotten up and ran to help with the evacuation... They all tried helping each evacuation from every village, however they were not fast enough to keep up with Xenon's carnage, they only see pile of rubble... from ashes to burnt bodies, Zabaki fell onto his knees and saw each people die in pain of their own...

Evan looked down at what Xenon was doing, he began feeling more distance about the prophecy and growled... he than looked at the sky, seeing the woman in the realm she is in.. "You may come whenever you are done... I'll try and keep him busy..." Evan said and began to fly away fast..
