My toes tread softly on the water.
It swirls and laps gently at me, nudging me playfully.
But I can't, not right now.
Because I've got a sister to find.
I close my bring my hands upwards, drawing on the immense power of the moon, and the water surges up, surrounding me with beautiful but unreal reflections of myself.
I hold my hands in place and the liquid around me crystallises, and forms a graceful curving arc right over the canyon.
My feet dance across, and I twirl and dance with delight.
The water answers every subtle hint of my hands, every sway of my arms.
It will and will forever have faith in me, my every move, every step of the way towards finding my mother, realising my path in life, but most of all, finding Artemis.
Now I know. I am the moon.
