(Chapter 15) Getting ready for the exams, and a lunch with Sensei.

*Minato's POV*

Soon breakfast came to the table, and I ate without saying anything. I still felt slightly embarrassed, and every time I was  But the more and more I thought about relationships in general, I couldn't help but not deny that I had a crush on him.

I felt somewhat weak for it. I felt like I was disrespecting Kushina, even Fugaku at most. Those two loved me, and I am turning Fugaku down. I mean, once I had liked him, but it was a one time thing and he seemed to never take note of it. So I just dropped it. But Kushina...

But honestly though, how much in a lifetime do you get that one opportunity to possibly date your like celeb crush!?!??!

I finished my breakfast and excused myself. I was the first one done, and I hope it hadn't looked a way the way I excused myself, but I had to get to work. The Chunin exams were literally tomorrow.

I teleported to the office and sat down. Immediately, I started to review my speech a bit, then I decided to go down to the exams place and look to see if anything had been done.

I teleported to the top, in the exact place I would be standing, reading my speech tomorrow. I looked down at everything and sighed a relief. The stadium was beautiful, ready for the crowd to come in tomorrow. It was going to be big. But as soon as I thought that stress was about to be off my hand, I couldn't shake off what I knew I had coming for Friday. I sighed and shaked my head.

I decided I was going to get my hokage cloak pressed, so I needed to go drop it off. I went to the nice old lady who has successfully done every hokages cloak sense the first, and gave her mines for a nice press. I told her I'd be back early tomorrow around 6 am to pick it up before I were to be in office at 7. I just wore my old first cloak to cover up some more.

I stayed in the office, and did some more paperwork as I looked over my speech every once in a while as well till there was a knock at my door.

I hadn't anticipated this enough, as I prayed that I didn't want it to be who I thought it was, and no I didn't mean Lord 2nd. God answered my prayer when the door opened and it was Lord 3rd.

"Good morning," He greeted me. "Well, just hit afternoon actually. I've successfully sanded out more than 100 invites."

My eyes lit up with excitement. "Wow, that's incredible! Thank you so much, Lord 3rd!"

"Yes yes of course my boy, now as much as I'd love to stick around, I have lunch to attended with someone, haha." He laughed off.

"Ohh, okay then, well goodbye I don't want to take up your time." I said gratefully.

"Bye. Oh yeah and also, Jiraiya is looking for you I heard? I don't know. Give him a call." Lord 3rd said as he turned and closed the door to my office, leaving.

It had truly been a minute since I had talked to my sensei. Last conversation I remember having with him was one about the name of our child, and how I apparently was the child of prophecy, and my son were to be the next. If you dilate that conversation to now...yeah, it's truly been a LONGGG minute...

I decided to take Lord 3rd up on that offer and call my sensei. He picked up on the 2nd ring.

"Heyy, Minato!" He said happily as he answered.
