(Chapter 16) A talk, and admiting.

*Minato's POV*

In came Fugaku. Just like that, all my blood pressure spiked high, I gulped, and gripped my chair. I wasn't ready for this. I didn't want to be ready for this, I didn't even want this to happen right now- but it was going to.

"Fugaku, please I-" I started, but was cut off.

"I know, I know what you're going to say, Minato. Look I don't want to take up your time, all I wanted to say was I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that to you, and I understand how those words mean a lot and you didn't take it easily. But look, all I'm saying is I'm sorry, and I won't invade or bother you again." With that, he turned and just left. Not even giving me a chance to respond, ever if I wanted to.

I just sat there and put my head down on the table. To be honest, I was so out of it. I felt like my day had been ruined now, and I was sick. I just thought of a million things to say and do, nothing came to mind.

Thing was, I accepted Fugaku's apology. It's just now things are going to be very awkward between us, because now I know he likes me.

He did right by apologizing, I guess, but that didn't settle me right anyways. I needed to go home right now.

I got quickly of what was left in the office, and started to walk home. I didn't feel like sprinting, or teleporting. I needed that walk. I needed to clear my head.

The walk home was nice. All the lights of the village, the commotion, the people...all set my mood. I felt somewhat better. But as I got more in the dark, and up the hill of the Senju base, my mood set back right to where it originally was.

I knocked instead of ringing, and waited. Soon Lord 1st opened the door and greeted me.

"Heyy Minato!" He exclaimed. "How was your day?"

"Just fine," I lied.

He looked me up and down carefully. "I can tell when people are lying you know. Special sense of mines. Tobirama can do the same." It was almost as if he knew already, as if he didn't just state the obvious..

It went silent as I just took off my shoes.

"Sooo.." He said breaking it. "What's wrong?"

I shrugged.

"If you don't tell me, I'll go and tell Lord 2nd you're upset." He teased. I don't know why he thought that would amuse me, or make me do something else, but I can't lie, he was right. It certainly made me perk my head up. But I thought, sighed, and stayed bratty and didn't respond.

"Okay thennn.." He said turning around and slowly walking up the stairs. "'You leave me no choiceee.." He was already up by the time he finished that sentence. I just got a drink of water and went up to my bed. I decided I needed a nice, steamy, hot, quick bath, so I started to take off my clothes.

I heard a knock and quickly I said "DON'T COME IN!!" I rushed to get a towel and then ran right to the front of the door and then opened it. It actually was Lord 2nd, and Lord 1st was a bit ways down the hall peaking, like he didn't just fucking send him to my room.

"Umm, yes?" I said questionably. Lord 2nd was literally unresponsive for like 5 seconds. "Umm hello? You okay ther-"

"OH!" He exclaimed. He put a had on the back of his head, and his face oddly got a bit red. "S-Sorry! Didn't mean to interrupt on such a bad time..-" He turned, and I grabbed his arm.
