WHO ARE YOU

Chapter 1

Shen Wei looks around her in that cafe. All the tables are full with the customers during that lunch time. Shen Wei sighs when only her table has an empty chair since she is just alone to have the best coffee and dessert in that cafe. Most of the customers at there known her and they are scared to take a seat with her. But amongst them, there is a guy who didn't know about the scare and that guy asked a seat at her table.

''May I take a seat at here with you?'' that guy asked with his sweet smiling made Shen Wei frowns a little to see that guy is bravely to ask a seat at her table.

''Err...'' Shen Wei speechless.

''Oh, sorry if I disturbed your peace at here alone. But as you can see all the tables are full. And only your table has an empty seat. So, may I sit at here for my drink?'' that guy asked again with an explanation since he thought this girl didn't like to see him to share the seat with her.

''Oh... Yes, please...'' Shen Wei replied shortly and she continued to read her book while drinking her own favourite coffee.

Zhao Yunlan thanks to that girl and he takes an empty seat in front of that girl. He is silently observing on that girl without that girl noticing his did. He saw that cup still has a half of coffee which is cappuccino. Then there is an empty plate on the table. Zhao Yunlan stares on the bill receipt underneath that empty plate and he can see the list of a slice of tiramisu cheese cake. He silently smiles to know that this girl eats her favorite cake, tiramisu cheese cake.

''Do we meet before, miss?'' Zhao Yunlan suddenly asked, breaking the silence between them at that table when the other tables are noisy with the talk from the other customers.

Shen Wei puts down her book and she looks at Zhao Yunlan with frowning. She silents for a moment before she shakes her head.

''I am sorry, mister. I think I never see you before. Have we met before? Or maybe do I know you?'' Shen Wei asked back with her apologize.

Zhao Yunlan smiles but inside his heart, he feels weird to hear the answer from this girl. Is he wrong to see this girl now? Or is she just a doppelganger with the girl he knows before? Or this girl just faking the memory to remember him?

''It's okay, miss. Maybe I wrongly thought of you as the one I know before. Well, I am Zhao Yunlan, chief of SID. And what's your name, miss?'' Zhao Yunlan introduced himself as he wants to see the reaction of this girl to him.

''Chief of SID? That's a great position you have. Well, I am Shen Wei. I am a staff at that company in front of this cafe,'' Shen Wei said with her introduction too but she didn't tell the detail about her to this SID chief that she just known.

Zhao Yunlan nods with a smile. He wants to ask further but then Shen Wei stares to her wristwatch before she becomes panicked a little.

''I am sorry, Chief Zhao. I need to go now. I have a meeting now. Please enjoy your drink at here. Excuse me, okay?'' Shen Wei apologized again and she takes her book away to hurriedly walk to her company at front of this cafe.

Zhao Yunlan sighs to lose Shen Wei before he can confirm who is actually Shen Wei to him. A moment later, a short guy arrived and greeted to Zhao Yunlan while whining about the road jammed because of accident.

''Luckily the police traffic worked faster to clear the road. Or else, I will be more late to come,'' that short guy whined again.

Zhao Yunlan just smiles to hear the whining from this short guy.

''How is the task I gave you, Da Qing? Did you find it?'' Zhao Yunlan asked, changing the conversation between them as that short guy took a seat at the seat where Shen Wei sat before this.
